Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon. Isaiah 58:10.
At Glory of Agape Worship Center, we love keeping the Word of God practical, We are growing our outreach by feeding our neighbors in trap houses. In this instance we also provided blankets and winter coats, little knowing the resident and her husband did not have much of either, and the next week our area was blanketed in snow and freezing temperatures down into the single digits. We delight in our service to our communities as we minister the Word in power and demonstration (1 Corinthians 2:4) in rehabs, jails, and soon via sober living as well.
As we create this opportunity to give, know that we honor the gifts and present them to the Lord as an offering and a gift that they are, praising the Lord for honoring His promise of blessing returning upon the giver, especially as written in Malachi 3 and Luke 6:38.
