We celebrated a birthday at the Gustke Shelter yesterday! The NHBC Birthday Buddy
program is a beautiful way to share joy and remind every child how special they are!
Our Church family comes together to provide cake, ice cream, pizza, and a special gift to celebrate as a way of saying, “You are seen, loved, and celebrated!”
Thank you to everyone who helps make these birthdays extra special. Including DiPaulos Pizza!

September is here! 🍂 We are looking forward to a month filled with opportunities to serve, fellowship, worship, and grow together.

Throughout September, we will be collecting needed items to support local community services, giving us an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus right here in our community. ❤️

We also have several special events planned for September, and we’d love for you to be part of them! Mark your calendars, invite a friend, and come join us for all that’s happening at New Hope.

Make September a month of serving others, growing together, and making much of Christ! 🙏

Grief is hard.
And you don’t have to walk through it alone.

Grief has a way of touching all of us. Maybe you’re grieving the loss of someone you love. Maybe you’re walking alongside a friend or family member who is hurting. Or maybe your heart is carrying a loss that others don’t even realize you’re experiencing.

Whatever your grief looks like, you don’t have to face it by yourself.

There are days when the sadness feels overwhelming, days when you simply miss them, and days when you wonder how you’re supposed to move forward. Grief takes time, and there is no right way to grieve.

But there can be comfort in knowing that someone understands, someone will listen, and someone is willing to walk beside you.

Our GriefShare support group begins September 14, providing a safe place to find encouragement, practical help, and Biblical hope as you navigate the journey of grief.

If you’re hurting, we want you to know:

You are not alone.
You are not forgotten.
And there is hope.

If you know someone who is grieving, consider sharing this with them. Sometimes a simple invitation can remind someone that they don’t have to walk this road alone.
