Churchy Stuff kicked off this past Sunday! We learned that although buildings are nice and many are beautiful, that is not what makes the church. Through Matthew 16:18, we focused on how Jesus was not talking about building His church with physical walls, but by building a family of believers that love Him. Kids wrote or drew on their bricks ways that they could help build the church because every time someone puts their trust in Jesus, God’s church grows. Each class had a section of the paper and they did not know what the whole picture was until everyone was finished. Some of the bricks say “giving money, setting up classrooms, praying, telling others about Jesus, encourage others, eating with others” This was God’s plan all along and how exciting that we are called to be apart of it!
