🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day from Stout Memorial United Methodist Church!

Today, we give thanks for the hard work, dedication, and service of people in every walk of life. May this Labor Day bring you a chance to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with those you love.

As we celebrate, we’re reminded to be grateful for the work of our hands and the many ways God calls us to serve one another.

🌟 STOUT SHOUTOUT! 🌟

This week’s Stout Shoutout goes to our wonderful custodian, Aaron Nutter, and his family!

There is a lot of work that goes into keeping our church clean, cared for, and ready for everything that happens throughout the week and Aaron is an important part of making that happen. From preparing our spaces for Sunday worship to keeping up with the many activities, meetings, ministries, and events at Stout, much of his hard work happens quietly behind the scenes.

We are grateful for Aaron’s dedication and the care he shows our church building each week. We’re also thankful for Aaron and his family and the many ways they are part of our Stout Memorial church family. It is families like theirs, sharing their time and talents, who help make Stout the special and welcoming place that it is.

Having a church home that is ready to welcome our congregation and community takes many helping hands, and we are thankful for Aaron’s faithful work and service.

The next time you see Aaron and his family at Stout, be sure to let them know how much they are appreciated!

We’re heading out for a night of baseball with the Dirty Birds on September 12th, and everyone from the church is invited! ❤️

🎟️ Tickets are just $10 each and they’re going FAST! (Tickets are free for our Stout Connect group)

Come enjoy a fun evening at the ballpark, spend time with your Stout family, and cheer on the Dirty Birds! Bring the family, invite a friend, and make a night of it. ⚾️🌭

📣 STOUT SHOUTOUT! 📣

We’re kicking off our first Stout Shoutout with someone who keeps a whole lot of things moving around here — our Office Administrator, Michaela Irick! 💙

If you’ve called the church, stopped by the office, needed something added to the calendar, had a question, or just needed someone to figure out who knows the answer… there’s a pretty good chance Michaela was involved. 😂

There are a million little things that happen behind the scenes to keep Stout running, and Michaela has a hand in more than most people ever see.

So today, we’re giving a BIG Stout Shoutout to Michaela! 🎉 Thank you for everything you do, for putting up with all of us, and for helping make Stout such a special place.
