On November 10, 2021, 54-year-old Marie Gene Benally disappeared from Chilchinbeto, Arizona. Since that day, she has not been seen or heard from, and her family continues to search for answers.

Very little information has been released publicly about the circumstances surrounding Marie's disappearance. When details are scarce, it becomes even more important to keep a missing person's name and photograph in the public eye. Every share has the potential to reach someone who may remember seeing her or who knows information that has never been reported.

Marie, who also goes by the nickname **"Weezie,"** is a Native American woman with black hair and brown eyes. She has multiple tattoos and was last seen wearing a brown Carhartt pullover, blue jeans, and several rings on her fingers.

Across Indian Country, Indigenous families continue to face disproportionate rates of missing persons cases, many of which receive little public attention. Every missing Indigenous woman deserves the same urgency, visibility, and commitment to finding answers. Marie's loved ones have spent years wondering what happened, and they deserve the truth.

Although only limited information is available, someone may remember seeing Marie on or around November 10, 2021, or know something about her disappearance that could help investigators. Even the smallest detail could prove significant.
