School may have started, but summer isn't over just yet! The St. Matthew's Band and Choir invite you to join them for a campfire sing-a-long August 13th, 7pm, in the courtyard. Come for the s'mores and stay for some of your favorite hymns, praise songs, and more! All voices are welcome in our joyful noise, so we hope to see you there.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out. Spokane is Rev. Amy's hometown, and the fires are devastating. Her family is safe outside the evacuation zone. But many will need significant help in upcoming days and weeks, and as they face the hurdles of rebuilding their lives. The Episcopal Diocese of Spokane will be there to help. If you have wondered what you can do - you can pray for the people, the wildlife, the land; you can also contribute to relief efforts. Thank you, Bishop Gretchen for your message and for inviting all Episcopalians to come together in difficult times.

Heads up for driving in the lot on Sunday - the Town of Parker is maintaining their parking lot! Thank you for fixing the potholes! This square area cannot be driven on until Tuesday. It only impacts two spots, as always, plan ahead and park down the street if you can.

We all have family, friends, and neighbors with different political perspectives. Through our baptismal covenant we commit to seeing Christ in all and respecting the dignity of all people. Today with Braver Angels we expressed our discipleship by practicing dialogue skills on a tough topic and in a safe place. So that as we go about our week we may engage others with dignity, affirming the belovedness of all.
