Every young person has a story.

Some are shaped by encouragement and opportunity. Others are marked by trauma, instability, abandonment, or systems that failed them long before they entered a juvenile detention center.

This month, we invite you into one of the hardest — and most hopeful — places Youth For Christ serves: Juvenile Justice Ministry.

Every week across the country, YFC leaders walk into detention centers, correctional facilities, and difficult neighborhoods carrying something many young people have never consistently experienced: the presence of a caring adult who sees them, knows them, and refuses to give up on them.

These young people are not statistics. They are image bearers of God with incredible value and potential.

Many teens navigating the juvenile justice system are searching for stability, belonging, and someone who truly cares.

Juvenile Justice Ministry creates safe spaces where caring adults build authentic relationships, share the hope of Christ, and remind students they are more than their circumstances.

And we see faithful YFC leaders continuing to show up — building trust, creating safe spaces, and introducing young people to the hope of Christ in places many would rather avoid.

Every week across the country, Youth For Christ leaders walk into juvenile justice facilities carrying something many students have never experienced before: consistent relationships, hope, and the message that they are deeply loved by God.

Through 160+ Juvenile Justice Ministry sites, more than 340 staff and 800 volunteers are showing up for over 10,000 young people navigating some of the hardest moments of their lives.

This ministry happens because faithful people choose to pray, give, and stay in the story with these students.

As we approach our June 30 fiscal year end, would you consider helping us continue this work? Your support helps keep caring adults inside facilities, builds trusted relationships, and creates opportunities for students to encounter the hope of Jesus.

He Is Moving.

How much are you relying on the unreliability of A.I. for things that a bot can't really provide? 👀

When we heal, we can we more easily help others heal. 🤕

The idea that we can go to a church building, never speak to anybody, sit passively, sing a few songs, listen to a sermon, not talk to anybody and go home, and say we "went to church" would be unfathomable to the apostles. 🫤

What happens when a local chapter says “yes” to showing up for young people?
Sometimes that “yes” reaches farther than anyone could imagine.

A conversation turns into a relationship.
A relationship turns into a life changed by Jesus.
That life turns into exponential impact.

And suddenly the impact doesn’t stop at one city, one ministry site, or even one country. It keeps moving outward — across communities, across cultures, and across the world.

This is the beauty of the mission of YFC. Faithful people serving locally while God creates impact globally.

Because the Gospel moves through relationships.
And when we invest in one young person, we may never fully know how far that story will travel.

Local ministry.
Global Kingdom impact.

What impact do you want to have?

Sometimes healing starts with a place to belong.

Kelsey remembers a student who walked into YFC carrying grief, loneliness, and the weight of losing her dad. Summer felt dark. Home felt empty. Life felt disconnected.

But someone noticed her.
Someone welcomed her.
Someone stayed.

What started as her simply showing up to Campus Life became something much deeper:
A safe place.
A trusted community.
A chance to heal.
A place to meet Jesus.

And three years later, she’s still showing up.

Because what happens at YFC is more than programming.

It’s discipleship.
It’s leadership.
It’s relationships that help students discover who they are and who God created them to become.

This is why we stay consistent.
This is why we create spaces for students to belong before they believe.
This is why we invest in the next generation of leaders.

Because He Is Moving in the lives of young people.
