🎓 Joy seniors! The WOJ Scholarship is now open for graduating high school seniors who are confirmed members of Joy Lutheran Church and accepted into a college or trade school. Submit your application to [email protected] by March 31, 2026 (subject line: WOJ Scholarship Application). You’ll get a confirmation within 48 hours. Recipients will be notified by the end of April and recognized during Senior Recognition Weekend, May 2–3. Awards will be paid directly to your school. Many families lack the pots, pans, and utensils needed to prepare a meal at home — and you can help! How to Give:
Bring new kitchen items (pots & pans, electric kettles, rice cookers) or gift cards (Walmart or King Soopers) to the Donation Station in the narthex starting this weekend, Oct. 25 through Nov. 9.
Prefer to give online?
Select “Thanksgiving Drive” when making your donation — funds will go toward grocery gift cards for families in need.

This Sunday! We’re kicking off our first mission project of the school year — creating Cuddle Kits to bring comfort and joy to local foster children. These kits will be given to kids in emergency placements — moments that can feel scary and uncertain. Each Cuddle Kit includes cozy pajamas, a small stuffed animal, and a flashlight — the “cuddle factor” that helps children feel safe and loved.
Our goal: 50 Cuddle Kits! 🧸 You can help by donating new boys’ & girls’ pajamas (all sizes), small stuffed animals, or flashlights with batteries. Donations can be placed in the labeled bin in the Narthex through the morning of October 19. Let’s share God’s love — one cuddle at a time.
