Maybe church hurt is a part of your story... part of what makes church hurt so painful is that it often comes from people you trusted to help you follow Jesus. You expected to find grace and belonging, and instead you walked away carrying disappointment, confusion, or wounds that still feel fresh.

Jesus sees that; He is not distant from it, and He is not threatened by your questions or your pain. The failures of people never change His character, His love, or His invitation to draw near. Healing is rarely instant, but it often begins by looking at Jesus again and allowing Him to show you who He truly is.🙏🏼

Your experience matters, yet it does not have to define your relationship with God. Jesus is still worth pursuing, and He is still walking with you through the process of healing.💙

One of the hardest parts of following Jesus is realizing that God's presence is not measured by how smoothly life is going. Joseph spent years in places he never would have chosen, yet God was working in every chapter of the story. David was promised a throne long before he ever wore a crown.

There is a deeper faith that develops when we stop measuring God's goodness by our circumstances or feelings. It is the kind of faith that trusts God's character more than the latest outcome and remembers His promises when the path ahead feels unclear. 🙏🏼
