Help us support women in exceptional need, as identified and vetted by Help & Hope. Together, the ladies of Sophia’s will fill approximately 30 beautiful hygiene bags, lovingly sewn by Martha Sprague, with generously donated items.

Items needed:
Floss
Lip balm
Deodorant
Tampax
Combs/brushes
Shampoo & conditioner
Washcloths
Bar soap/body wash
Sunscreen
Shavers
Toothpaste
Regular-size items are welcome if hotel samples aren’t available.

We're collecting men's clothing donations for our September 18th trip to Alamosa! Dick and Jean Sherer are coordinating this one, here's how to get your items to them:

📍 Drop off at church the Sunday before (Sept 13th)
🏠 Or drop off at the Sherer's home — 11626 Mustang Road, south of the church (please call ahead: 303-841-0751)

Education takes a whole community, and we want to celebrate and lift up everyone who makes learning possible!

Join us on Sunday, August 30th at 10:00 AM as we dedicate a special portion of worship to blessing our students, teachers, school staff, parents, grandparents, and Christian Education leaders.

🌾 Join us for the La Puente Gleaning Trip! 🌾
Come make a direct impact in our local food system! We’re heading down to Alamosa in
the San Luis Valley to harvest potatoes and carrots for local food banks and the La
Puente shelter.

📅 Dates: Sept 18–19 (Travel Fri evening, glean Sat morning)
📍 Location: Alamosa & San Luis Valley, CO
🎓 Students: Earn 12 Community Service Hours!
🥔 What to Expect:
• Saturday morning gleaning in the fields OR helping out at the
shelter/food bank.
• Fellowship lunch at Milagros Coffee House or local Mexican spots!
• Optional afternoon exploration at Great Sand Dunes National Park or the Shrine of the
Stations of the Cross.
🏨 Details: Drive down Friday (Sept 18). Book your own lodging (Super 8 is a budget-
friendly favorite!).

Maybe "enough" begins when we recognize that those around us don't have enough.

Maybe "enough" is found when we realize we have the power to help one another.
Imagine what could happen when we come together in love to care for our community. Jesus knew that five loaves and two fish were more than enough to perform a miracle-so when we share, how much is enough?
