We are doing a little local "Back to School" activity!

In the early 1930's. my father, Milton S Wilson Sr was visiting a uncle who was a shepherd in the a valley between the Snake and the Salmon rivers in Idaho, USA. They didn't graze the sheep on Sunday, but fed them in the home corral. After a quiet day of rest, my dad finished the day by reading a good novel. He became quite homesick for the hills and valleys of western Wisconsin which was his home. Remembering family and his Christian upbringing, he knelt beside his bed and asked the LORD to forgive his sins and enter his life.
The next morning, he said, The sun was brighter than it had ever been, the grass was greener, and all nature was alive in my joy. He led his sheep up and down the valley singing at the top of his lungs, "The Lily of the Valley."
As my father, he ministered the things of Christ to me, and I to knelt and asked forgiveness and the newness of life that the Holy Spirit brings into the heart of a believer.
I now have and share, 'The peace of God, that passes all human understanding.'

Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem, the will of God The Father! He has promises to keep, and He has the power and wisdom to bring it about!
