OUR LADY OF FATIMA COUNCIL #4486

Who we are. The Knights of Columbus - Our Lady of Fatima Council #4486 (at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Park Ridge, NJ) was chartered in 1957. Since our inception, the Catholic men of our council have embodied the four principles of our Order – Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. Throughout these years, our “band of brothers” have been very involved in ou

r OLM Parish and community; offering service hours and sponsoring fundraising events. Our Parish and Community Participation
We assist in decorating the Church during Christmas season (both inside and outside), we conduct the Stations of the Cross during Lent, host the St. Patrick’s Day Dinner, The Oktoberfest Dinner and take a leading role in the OLM Parish Picnic.
100% of the money raised at our sponsored events goes to charitable organizations such as: local food pantries, the ambulance corps, Eagle and Gold Award Scouts, scholarships, Intellectual Disabilities, and a host of “Respect Life” organizations. You will see Knights in our Council at Mass each week. We are comprised of Priests, Deacons, Extraordinary Ministers, Ushers, Choir Singers, Musicians, Scout Leaders, Coaches and Parents. We are very visible and very active as a group. We are a brotherhood of Catholic men from varying walks of life who want to be a part of something special – something we can lend our time and talents to for the good of the people around us. This is why we became Knights. Becoming a Knight. We welcome you to join our active council. There are only two requirements. You must be 18 years of age or older and must be Catholic. It’s easy to join the Knights. You can join online at https://www.kofc.org/secure/en/join/join-the-knights.html. We meet every second Monday night of the month, 8-9pm in The Father McGivney Conference Room in the OLM church. We also gather for various social meetings and events. Being a Knight is a very rewarding experience. We truly enjoy each other’s company. We have fun when we conduct events. Ours is a friendship, a Unity. We work with each other. We help each other. We support each other. We are Knights. For more information, please contact our Grand Knight at [email protected]

Congratulations! What a beautiful and grace-filled day.
May Father Brian Sullivan be strengthened by the Holy Spirit as he begins his priestly ministry—bringing the sacraments, preaching the Gospel, and shepherding souls with the heart of Christ. Holy Orders is indeed one of the most profound Sacraments, and it's always a cause for great rejoicing in the Church when a new priest says "yes" to that calling. We are blessed to witness such vocations. May God continue to bless Father Brian.
