This weekend, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. Join us for Mass as we honor the true presence of Christ in the Eucharist, the Source and Summit of our Catholic Faith! Masses on Saturday at 5 pm, Sunday at 9:30 am, 11 am, and 7 pm.

No matter which Mass you attend, plan to join us right around noon (or a bit earlier!) on Sunday for our Eucharistic Procession! This is a beautiful Catholic tradition where we bring Christ to our neighborhood as we process around the block, singing hymns of praise.

Hail, true body, born of the Virgin Mary,
Truly suffered, sacrificed on the Cross for mankind,
from whose pierced side flowed water and blood;
Be for us a foretaste (of the heavenly banquet) in the trial of death!
O sweet Jesus, O holy Jesus,
O Jesus, son of Mary,
have mercy on me. Amen.

This past weekend, we celebrated the feast of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples.

Revisit the Gospel from this Sunday: John 20:19-23
On the evening of that first day of the week,
when the doors were locked, where the disciples were,
for fear of the Jews,
Jesus came and stood in their midst
and said to them, "Peace be with you."
When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side.
The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord.
Jesus said to them again, "Peace be with you.
As the Father has sent me, so I send you."
And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them,
"Receive the Holy Spirit.
Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them,
and whose sins you retain are retained."

Wishing everyone a blessed Memorial Day weekend, as we remember those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Prayer for the Fallen

God our creator and sustainer,
today our country brings to our memory
those who have defended this nation in times of trouble.

They have sacrificed their lives to protect our shores
from those who would limit our freedoms
or enslave us to ways that are against your will.
Bring all those who have died in service to our country
into your heavenly presence.

We humbly call down your blessing on those still serving;
grant your heavenly protection to these men and women,
and open your Sacred Heart to give them peace and comfort.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
