Good afternoon, everyone! ❤️

As many of you know, Hope on the Streets Love in Action Inc. believes in being completely transparent about what we do and how your donations are used to help individuals experiencing homelessness and families who are struggling throughout Wichita and Sedgwick County.

We wanted to share a glimpse of what your generosity makes possible.

These are the items your donations help us purchase to prepare sack lunches and provide food to those who need it.

We are always searching for the best prices so that we can stretch every dollar as far as possible. Today, we found some great deals on bread, bologna, cheese, and cookies for our sack lunches.

We also found water on sale at leekers which 1 case was free with how much we spend there monthly, which helps us provide something as simple—and as important—as a bottle of water to someone who may be going without.

Every dollar matters. Every donation makes a difference.

Thank you to everyone who donated yesterday and today. Your generosity has a huge impact on what we are able to do each week.

But our outreach is about more than just handing someone a meal. A meal opens the door to conversation. It gives us an opportunity to sit down with someone, listen to them, learn what they are facing, and share information about resources and services available in our community that may help them take their next step toward stability.
