Dear Church Family,
May the promise and celebration of Resurrection Sunday fill your hearts with peace, joy, and love as we enter the Easter season!
This is a season for rebirth, renewal, and rejoicing. A time when our hearts and souls are renewed by the sweet whisper of hope that resounds from Easter. A time that is gloriously infused with the miracle of Jesus Christ’s Resurrection, awakening a fresh realization of God's unimaginable love for us.
As we reflect on the sacrifice our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ made for us, it’s both humbling and encouraging. His life, death, and resurrection represent the depths of God’s grace and the extent of His divine compassion for humanity. His sacrifice freed us from the clutches of sin and death, offering a life brimming with hope, peace, and eternal love.
The Easter message is universal—it transcends cultural, racial, and national boundaries. It is a message of love, redemption, and new beginnings—a divine act that signals no matter the burdens we bear or the scale of despair we erode under, there exists a bigger plan. This plan is woven meticulously with strands of forgiveness, grace, and second chances offered by our Lord Jesus Christ.
As we approach this Easter, let's take a moment to immerse ourselves in this divine truth, embracing the opportunity it offers for personal renewal. As winter's veil lifts to reveal the splendor of spring in bloom, so too may Christ's resurrection renew and nurture the spiritual spring within our hearts.
We are incredibly thankful for each one of you who have held close to your faith, showed kindness to neighbors in need and continued to live out the love of Christ despite the adversities we face. You are the living embodiment of the Church, relaying God's unchanging love in an ever-changing world.
This Easter, our church is planning the following:
• Continental breakfast @ 9 AM (Coffee, donuts, fruit, etc.)
• Discipleship classes @ 9:30 AM (formerly known as Sunday School)
• Morning worship @ 10:30 (with Communion to follow)
• Potluck lunch and Children’s Egg Hunt @ 12 Noon (Bring a potluck dish to share; Egg hunt ages 0-6th grade)
• Photo backdrop for your family photos is available.
Bring your family, invite your friends, and encourage your neighbors to come and let’s celebrate Jesus together, comforted by the fact that He is risen, He is with us, and His love is unstoppable.
Furthermore, He taught us the way to love extravagantly, to give unconditionally, to extend forgiveness before it's sought, and to embrace peace amid chaos. Let’s honor Him by living this divine truth each day. As we celebrate His resurrection, let’s continue to be His hands and feet in this world.
Thank you for your ongoing prayer, support, and participation as we navigate the days ahead. The church has always been about the people, not the building, and it is in all of you that the spirit of Christ dwells so abundantly.
In closing, remember the words in Philippians 4: 7: "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." May this peace guide us through Easter and the days that follow.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or need further information.
In His love,
