The Open Doors Community Church's Youth Grup will be hosting it's 2nd annual gun raffle courtesy of an amazing partnership with Guns and Gear of Paris, TN!

This year instead of giving away a R***r .22 rifle, we will be raffling off a Maverick 88 12 gauge shotgun with multiple chokes for all your hunting needs! This is an amazing deal.

Ticket prices are as follows:
1 ticket for $5.00
2 tickets for $10.00
3 tickets for $12.00
And if you buy 3 or more tickets they are $4.00 a piece!

And to the lucky winner,
When you go to claim your prize, be advised you will have to pay for the background check and taxes on the gun.

All proceeds go to the youth group's trip to The Ramp in Hamilton, Alabama. Hey guys we got a slight hiccup tonight. Due to some problems with the kids we are going to have to cancel powerhouse tonight. We will continue back on the following Friday, hopefully with some live praise and worship from our very own Joe Ary! God bless ya'll and hope to see you at service on Sunday!

Romans 1:21-25 NIV
For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile in their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a moral human being and birds and animals and reptiles. Therefore God gave them over in the sin desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator-- who is forever praised. Amen.

Often times, we tend to take God for granted. But then again, there are times where we do right and give Him the glory He deserves. Share with us a way we can serve the Creator rather than created things in our daily lives!

With POWERHOUSE tomorrow and the launch of our page this week, I feel a challenge coming on... I talked it over with my fellow man of God, Michael, and we agreed that if this post gets 50 shares, and the page gets 50 likes, we will allow a teen at POWERHOUSE to PIE one of us in the face. I'm pretty sure Michael only said yes because he didn't think we could reach our goal. Let's prove him wrong!!

Hey y'all!

Quick introduction for those who don't know, I'm Chris Hill, youth minister (soon to be Youth Pastor) at Open Doors Community Church here in Paris, Tennessee. I am happy to announce we are hosting POWERHOUSE every Friday night at our church from 7 to 10 for ages 13 to 19.

For those who do not know what POWERHOUSE is, it is an event for all teens to come and enjoy every Friday night. We host different activities each week as an outlet for teens to enjoy with friends in a supervised and positive atmosphere. After our fun time, we dive into the Holy Spirit with praise and worship, followed by a brief, non denominational lesson.

We set up this page so we could have an outreach for all the youth in Henry County, not just our church! We invite all churches to enjoy the fun. The only thing we ask is that you bring a small donation for concessions.

This page will not only be for awareness, but also a place to send prayer requests, share devotions, address different events, and whatever else the Spirit might need manifested in this ministry!

So feel free to like and share this page with teens, parents, or whoever God puts on your heart! We just want help God grow in the next generation!
