As we make it to all of our many, precisely planned, Easter celebrations…

May we not forget what today is.

Today is the day after Jesus died.

Today is the day after the sky went dark.

Today is the day after the earth groaned and quaked.

Today is the day that friends grieved.

Today is the day no one visited the tomb.

Today is the day that silence filled the air rather than teachings.

Today is the day that religious leaders sealed and gaurded the tomb, to ensure their fears did not come true.

Today is the day where many felt alone, some felt confusion, while others felt fear.

BUT - Today is also the day that Jesus went about HIS strategic plan!! (Ephisians 4:8-10)

So, to those of you who are looking forward to the day after today…

OH, TOMORROW!

There is so much more to this story!
