Manna in the morning: "Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ>" Colossians 4:3a "Pray a door opens"
Paul knew no quitting place, no retirement village, no lack of willingness to stay focused. He didn't want to waste his time and he didn't try to physically kick down closed doors. Rather he requested prayer that would catch the ear of God.
So today I request prayer that I would find the opportunities that God is sending my way.
I will come to your church and community and maybe we can help one another in these troubling times. I know that, that as I preach the Word of God. There will be Holy Spirit conviction, Scripture application and sincere pleading. It will be a great meeting.

Our friend soloist Wesley Gray will be opening for the Old Paths Quartet when they appear in concert at Cornerstone Baptist Church of 15197 US HWY 150 in Paris, Illinois on Sunday February 9th at 6 pm. (CST). The Old Paths are known for great hits such as God's Great, Long Live the King, Broken People Like Me, Battlestand, and Come Sunday to name several. They also feature Hall of Fame inductee tenor Steve Ladd. Both Steve Ladd and The Old Paths are heard daily on Sirius Radio and Enlighten on Dish. It's my exciting privilege to announce that Cornerstone Baptist Church of 15197 US HWY 150 Paris, Illinois (across the road from the Paris Super Walmart) will be hosting a concert with one of America's finest quartets, The Old Paths. The Old Paths Quartet consists of 4 exceptional Christian men who are truly fantastic singers. The group started in 2003 as a trio, morphed into a quartet and in 2012 their album Right Now was a breakout project for them producing two #1 hits, "Battlestand" and "God's Great," within a six-month span. In 2013, the group was named Favorite New Quartet, and songs like "Love Them to Jesus" and "Ordinary People" also quickly became fan favorites. Consisting of founding members Tim Rackley and Douglas Roark, longtime bass singer Daniel Ashmore and most recently added tenor Steve Ladd, The Old Paths are already considered one of the finest southern and inspirational quartets in America. Gospel singer/song writer Mark Bishop will be featured in concert at Cornerstone Baptist Church of Paris, Illinois (15199 US HWY 150, Paris, Illinois - across the street from the Paris Super WalMart) on Thursday May 3rd at 7 pm. Having the writer of such songs as "May I Pray For You" "Pray on the Little Days," "My Name is Jesus," "I Got Here As Fast As I Could" and a host of other wonderful ballads, songs and arrangements; will be a great way to end the National Day of Prayer.
