I literally thought Pentecostals celebrated the Day of Pentecost 🙃

They don't.

I actually heard our Pentecostal pastor preach
"the law brought death but the day of Pentecost brought life”

🫣 The teaching was about Pentecost redeeming the day the Law was given.

Yes, the Law was given on Shavuot but even Paul says “the law is spiritual,” we are the ones who are carnal.

The thing that many believers struggle to understand is that there was never meant to be a separation of Law and Spirit, or covenant and grace.

Yahuah’s Spirit filled Mt. Sinai as His angels dictated the Law to Moses- bro was glowing when He came back from the mountain! 🤩

Even today, when the Spirit is moving within us, it is leading us into truth; into Yahuah’s righteous ways.

Marcion isn't considered one of the ...
But he did have notable influence on

Marcion taught that the God of the Old Testament was different from the God revealed by Jesus — one supposedly harsh and legalistic, the other loving and merciful.

The early church condemned that teaching as heresy.
Yet modern Christianity often repeats the same idea in different language:

“That’s just Old Testament.” “Jesus replaced the Law with love.” “The God of the Torah was about wrath, but Jesus brought grace.”

But Scripture never separates the Father from the God of Israel.

God says He does not change. Malachi 3:6

Jesus said He came to fulfill, not abolish.
And the Law itself teaches love for God, love for neighbor, care for the poor, justice for the oppressed, and mercy toward the vulnerable.

👏The problem isn’t that the Law lacked love.
👏The problem is that many have been taught to see God’s instructions through the lens of man-made traditions instead of Scripture itself.

Jesus didn’t come to reveal a different God.
He came to reveal the fullness of the same God humanity had already rejected from the beginning.

This will either p**s you off or make you think..that's between you and God. 🫡

There is a point and a grace for still learning 🙏🏻 🫶
..and there is an entirely separate point for outright disregard for the Father's instruction.

🤓 We can study- God built the Sabbath into creation! And someone will say, "it was given only for the Jews."

🤓 We can study- God giving His Sabbath as a sign between Him and His people. And they'll say "it's not a marker of covenant."

🤓 We can study- If you turn to keeping the Sabbath and call it a delight, an honorable day to the LORD then He will prosper you. But someone will still will say "it doesn't matter what day of the week I CHOOSE to worship."

🤓 We can study Hebrews 4- there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. And many will say "you're not to judge me for not keeping the Sabbath."

So let me ask you this- who's ways are higher?.. Yours or His?

Man's EXCUSES do not change GOD'S COMMANDS ‼️

I'm not here to JUDGE you. I'm just expressing exactly what I've witnessed from CHRISTIANS who refuse to hear and do the things that Chirst did.

There is no doctrine that can replace God's command. The Sabbath still stands for the the children of God...many just simply don't want to do it.

Church fathers like Justin Martyr may have played a key role in the development of Christian theology...

But as Spirit filled believers- we have a duty to GOD to be like the Bereans and search the scriptures to find out if what was taught all those many years ago, is accurate.

🫒 God's covenant people IS Israel, period. Done.

There is NO 0️⃣ covenant made with Gentiles, nor is there another covenant for the church.

🫒 Jeremiah 31 new covenant --> for Israel & Judah
🫒 Ezekiel 37 resurrection, new spirit, gathering --> for Israel & Judah
🫒 Hebrews 8:10 new covenant --> for Israel!

Point blank, the Christian church is grafted into the Olive Tree of Israel! Romans 11 & Ephesians 2.

Now, Justin was correct in saying the unbelieving Jews were rejected. . . But he was incorrect in assuming all Jews were unbelievers and the whole tree is cut down.

INDIVIDUALS - whether Jew or Gentile, are either apart of Israel by faith, or are broken off by rebellion. That is abundantly clear throughout the whole of scripture!!

But, unfortunately these guys didn't care a whole lot about representing the scriptures well. Inaccurate theology effected the church for generations.

As I said in my previous video- regarding the Sabbath is VERY complicated!!

And it has nothing to do with have a different day of the week to fellowship, study the bible, and worship...

You CAN do that ANY DAY OF THE WEEK!

🎯 It has to do with disobeying the SETTING APART of God's Sabbath!

Sunday doesn't have the same standard as the Sabbath- people are shopping and going to restaurants after church --> It's not the same!

🎯 It also has to do with the fact that politically driven decided to change God's commands (as if any man holds that authority) and condemned those who desired to keep Sabbath.

There was no theological reasoning or scriptural evidence for their choices. They simply did not want to look like the Jews.

I 💯 understand wanting to look different than religious systems, but disregarding the command of GOD to do it, should be out of the question‼️

✨️ The Sabbath day was built into creation, kept by God Himself, kept by Jesus, and will be kept in the Kingdom.

✨️ The Sabbath is literally the 4th of 10 commandments... Christian's claim to keep the 10 commandments yet are simultaneously taught that the Sabbath was just for the Jews 🤔

✨️ The Sabbath is called a SIGN of the covenant between Yahweh and His people
..so why are we still adhering to 2,000 year old writing thar contradict the scriptures??

Well, you don't have to. You are allowed to questikn the narrative, seek out the scriptures, and obey God!

And let me tell you- the SABBATH IS A BLESSING 🙌

Scrap the man made traditions and literally just chill 😌✌️ the Sabbath was made for YOU!

Happy Sabbath scattered fam 🫶

My family has been keeping the Sabbath for 5 years now. It has been such an incredible blessing 🙌

We don't: conduct business, shop, cause others to work for us.

We do: chill out, do bible study, watch movies, play board games, and cook!

Now, disclaimer- my husband is in law enforcement so he does work every other Sabbath. But it was a job that Yah led him to and has advanced him in- he's helping people and he's definitely not in it for the money 🙃

Some people do have to work on the Sabbath, but I feel confident that Yah knows a person's desire to keep His Sabbath, in some cases He may provide a way...in other cases He has grace.

Traditions and strict adherence to extra rules, is not necessary. If your family has traditions you enjoy that's fine!! But, you do not have to follow specific rituals and ceremony just because others do it.

Yah's command for HIS Sabbath is so simple 🙌 it is a gift for us to step into every single week!

The hardest truth for religious people to accept is that tradition can become a wall.

A wall between ✡️ and Gentile.
A wall between denominations.
A wall between people and the simplicity of obedience to God.

Messiah did not come to create competing religions.
He came to reconcile people back to the Father and make BOTH one.

✨️The scriptures always pointed toward restoration:
one King, one people, one covenant hope.

So many argue over interpretations, labels, and traditions while missing the weightier matter— a heart willing to fear God, love Him fully, and walk in His ways.

The Kingdom is not inherited by doctrines and tradition.

The Kingdom is inherited by the mediation of Messiah and the leading of the Ruach to train every individual in the written Torah.
