One month from today, we’re setting the table for Homecoming!

Save the date. There’s a place at the table for you.

On Sunday, October 4, we’ll celebrate World Communion Sunday & Homecoming at First Presbyterian Church.

If this church has ever been part of your story, whether you worship here now, grew up here, were married or baptized here, served here, found friendship here, or remember a season when this congregation was part of your life, we hope you’ll come home and join us.

Worship begins at 11:00 AM, with a Homecoming potluck following.

More details are coming, but for now: mark the date, tell an old friend, and come home to the table.

Cancer is heavy. Lunch doesn’t have to be.

If cancer is part of your life right now, or has been, you are welcome at our Cancer Support Group.

Survivors. People in treatment. Spouses. Family members. Caregivers. People who understand that sometimes you need to talk, sometimes you need to listen, and sometimes you just need to sit down with people who get it.

We meet the second Thursday of every month at 11:30 AM.

And lunch? Pizza, dessert, cold drinks, and it’s all free.

Come hungry. Come as you are.

Supper is on us tonight.
Shepherd’s Table is serving today from 4–6 PM, or until the food runs out, at First Presbyterian Church.

Tonight's menu includes: meatloaf, creamy mac-n-cheese, green beans, a roll, and a variety of sweet treats for dessert.

Come in, sit down, and enjoy your meal with us, or pick it up to take home. And if you’re bringing supper home for others, ask for as many meals as you need. We’ll share as long as we have food.

There will be a good meal waiting and, of course, dessert.

No cost. No reservation. No strings attached.
Just come hungry. There is a place for you at the table.

What would change if you felt a little more confident about where your money goes each month?

Your Money Map is a FREE basic budgeting class designed to give you practical tools for real life, not judgment, not complicated formulas, and not a lecture about what you “should” be doing.

Together, we’ll talk about ways to plan, prioritize, and make your money work more intentionally for you.

And this class is open to everyone. You do not have to receive utility assistance from Project Help, or even be a Project Help client, to participate. Our partnership helps us make this resource available to our community.

Ready to save your seat? Call the First Presbyterian Church office at (731) 642-2962 to register.

The class is free. The tools are practical. And a clearer path forward might be closer than you think.

Shepherd’s Table is setting the table again on Thursday, September 3, and supper is free for everyone.
