01/22/2022
2022 is here! Many of us will have different resolutions physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually— but let this be the one resolution that outlasts all others… to 𝐤𝐧𝗼𝐰 𝐆𝗼𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐫. Let this year be the year we realize and recognize how Glorious and Marvelous our God is! For our greatest need in life is not more stuff, more time, more muscles, more money, more wealth, more health, more comfort, more happiness… our greatest need is to 𝐤𝐧𝗼𝐰 𝐆𝗼𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫
-
This year let us regain a 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝗼𝐟 𝐆𝗼𝐝. Let us pray for the scales to be torn from our eyes that keep us from seeing His Glory. Let us pray that His light will be shone in our darkness that keeps us from beholding His Beauty. Let us pray for His breath to fill our lunges so that we can live for Him. Let us pray for His Word to be put in our minds so that we may not sin against Him. Let us pray that His home is made in our hearts so that we will not go astray again
-
So in this year, let us press on, let grow to 𝐤𝐧𝗼𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐃 𝗺𝗼𝐫𝐞 than we ever have before. Let us trust Him. Let us praise Him. Let us exalt Him. Let us esteem Him. Let us bow down, kneel down, fall down and worship Him! Let us pray more fervently. Let us love Him more deeply. Let us follow Him more closely. Let us cling to Him more firmly. Let us obey Him more faithfully. Let us fear Him more reverently. Let us proclaim Him more boldly. Let us worship Him more biblically. Let us 𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐇𝐢𝗺 𝗺𝗼𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐲 and 𝐤𝐧𝗼𝐰 𝐇𝐢𝗺 𝗺𝗼𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲. For all other things are worthless in view of 𝐤𝐧𝗼𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐢𝗺 and being known by Him

So as 2022 goes along, let these resolutions be a guide for this year. But let our one resolution be grounded in 𝐤𝐧𝗼𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝗼𝐝 𝗺𝗼𝐫𝐞. Nothing is more important than this. As this New Year stares us in the face and the future looms over us all, let it strike us that nothing has even struck God! That He has never looked into the future and learned anything, never looked to the past and forgot anything and never looked at the present and missed anything! This is the God we have. This is the God we had last year, the God we have this year and the same God we’ll have for all our years
