I can't let another day pass without thanking the Lord for these 2 wonderful people! God brought Cody and Hannah into our lives only last week, but they are the REAL deal!

Last Sunday they joined us as we fed 7 homeless people in the streets and 5 homeless people at the guest house. We also fed 3 dogs. We prayed encouraged and even cried with some. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to allow others who want to serve, a place to serve. They did a great job and truly love people as Jesus does.

They said they would be available, as needed and ALL week, they have proven that to be so. I can't count the times we have called on them within the week and they have been faithful. This isn't to boast or expose their servants'hearts, but more to give God praise for answering yet another prayer of ours. We have been praying for God to send us these two and we couldn't be more proud of them and the people they are. We already love you two, Hannah and Cody! Thank you for being obedient to the Lord and being faithful to this ministry!

What we do on a Saturday, when God opens a HUGE door for a Guest House for the homeless in our community.

We donate our time to getting it fixed up and repaired as we eagerly wait for the funding to get everything on for it.

Be faithful in the SMALL things as that is proof of how you will handle the BIG ones!

We are so excited to share this blessing with you all. ALL Glory and Honor belongs to GOD! 🙌

Stay tuned to see the FINAL result and if you would like to volunteer your TIME to help get this "painting project" complete, we will be heading there again TODAY!

**Update**
We were just notified TODAY, AFTER this post that the guys got their car back! 🙌 Praise God! However, they need JOBS and a place to shower. Prayers that we get our mobile shower running soon and please let us know about JOBS!

Last Sunday, we hit the streets and we had an awesome helper! With me being on call for work, I wasn't able to do much, but James and Scotty smashed it out of the park and fed 7 homeless people and delivered them hygiene bags as well this week. They also fed 2 dogs.
Then we delivered a box of food to the Guest House, "Beauty of Ashes" so they would have food for the whole week.
***Special prayer request for the homeless man and his son who were living in their car, but their car got impounded.***
This broke our hearts and we checked on them. If you feel led to donate to help get their car out, please do so!
Also....ANYONE who knows of places hiring, please let us know! We would LOVE to be able to help people with jobs!

So....I'm not trying to alarm anyone or disturb anyone. I just want to let everyone know that today is MAY 27! Which means, in exactly 1 month, this thing is happening!!!
With that said....if you want a booth, it's not too late to reserve a spot at this event! However, don't wait much longer to do so bc time is passing quickly.
Also....those who have reserved a booth, make sure you have everything you need! Chairs, tables, a canopy, items to give away, posters, pamphlets, and information.

We are NOT charging for a spot at Pack the Park, but if you want a spot, you have to provide something for the community. This is an all FREE event we are hosting for our community. It's a great time to bring awareness to your business, rehab, church, or ministry. A LOT of people will be there. We really want to PACK THIS PARK and bring Unity to our Community.

Reserve your booth, get things together, and plan to attend!

Hello to all of the beautiful supporters of Ridge City Streets.

We have an incredible update and opportunity we would love to share with you. God has opened a door for Ridge City Streets to assist in helping establish transitional housing for some of the homeless individuals we have been serving in our community.

This is not only an answered prayer, it is God going far beyond anything we could have imagined or asked for.

As many of you know, beginning an endeavor like this requires extensive preparation. There are legal expenses, safety measures, paperwork, inspections, and processes that must be handled correctly to ensure the protection of our nonprofit, the individuals involved, and the people who will eventually call these places home.

Right now, we are asking for your help.

At this stage, our greatest need is financial support to help us begin moving forward properly and responsibly. In the coming weeks, we will also be reaching out to professionals who may be willing to donate their time and expertise, but first we must establish the foundation needed to move ahead.

We know it can be difficult to give toward something without having every detail, but at this time we are intentionally limiting information in order to protect the privacy and safety of the homeless individuals involved, as well as those donating their time, resources, and potential housing opportunities.

Please know this: we are committed to doing this the right way, effectively, responsibly, and with wisdom. We are working alongside experienced individuals and professionals who are helping ensure everything is handled properly and through the correct channels.

As progress is made and the appropriate time comes, we will gladly share updates with all of you.

If you feel led to help in any way, please reach out to us. We have several important meetings coming up regarding the future of this ministry and how we can best serve our community.

Thank you all for the love, prayers, encouragement, and support you have already shown. God continues to amaze us through every step of this ministry. Time and time again, He reminds us that He is already working ahead of us.

This has been a long awaited need in our community, and if we come together, we truly can make a difference.

Hello everyone!

I wanted to take the time to let everyone know, we fed 10 homeless people yesterday after church. Even though we don't post as frequently or often as we have previously, we are still out there doing it. We also fed 5 dogs! 🙌

God always makes a way for us to help these people and we are so incredibly grateful! Honestly, sometimes I think it helps us more than we help them.

Helping someone who is homeless brings us back to square one and illiminates any form of pride or ungratefulness someone may have.

Seeing the smiles on their faces, seeing the pups tails wag when they recognize our voices. Watching them talk about wanting to "donate back" or "make hotdogs for us when they get their food stamp cards" or how they are excited about June 27th and want to "share their story". It ALL humbles us and makes us LOVE these people that much more!

They aren't horrible people, just people going through a horrible time in their life. They need strength and encouragement. Someone to just listen for a change.

We are the ones blessed here. We are the ones who get to meet new, different, and unique individuals. We are the ones who get to share the load with them and make it just a little lighter. God has trusted us with some of the most sensitive and kind people and we love them so much.

It was a sad day for Ridge City Streets today, but we also had a good day in the Lord. When in ministry with homeless people, you don't know what you are ever going to encounter. Today we discovered that TENT CITY has been closed to the homeless individuals who were living there. The land owner has the right to do as he wishes with his property, but we can't help but wonder if our ministry is what has caused this horror to befall upon them. We absolutely LOVE what we do and these people deserve to be noticed and recognized, in hopes to bring more help to them. Unfortunately, it caused a major shift in some and they are now trying to "clean up" the city. We want this for the city! We just believe there could be a better way of doing so. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE join us in prayer for God to open the windows of Heaven for the HOMELESS in this area!

Yes, some got showers, now have a bed, and are being fed. However, when they get out of jail, where do they go? How do they find jobs with charges? How can we truly HELP this situation?

I pray for direction and guidance during this time. We are going to halt on posting photos for now. I hope you all understand.

We still fed 7 homeless people today, but we won't disclose where they are located.

For those interested in a booth, please look over this. As everyone knows, most events charge for a booth to be set up. This is what we are asking instead!
***WHY?
Because this truly is about "UNITY IN OUR COMMUNITY". All we ask is that you come and bring something for THEM. Contribute to the NEEDS of others. Come to show LOVE and KINDNESS.
What does this do for US? ...
It's NOT ABOUT US. This is about JESUS and being HIS hands and feet! 🙌
