Our Ladies’ Group donated 20 blankets to Wise Choices Pregnancy Pregnancy Resource Center today. Although six women contributed to making the twenty blankets, there are only 5 in the picture. Here is a shoutout to these ladies (left to right): Patti Limke, Joyce Richardson, Gay Read, Val Wick, and Donna Worstell. Not pictured, but also a contributor is Kay Stephens.

Pastor Glenn just announced that due to weather conditions that will likely continue through the early hours on Sunday (or longer), Sunday School and Church services are canceled for tomorrow. Wanted to share with our church family the wonderful news for Noah, one of the boys from the Boy Scout Troop 194 who meet in our facilities each week. Noah graduated last spring and has been accepted to OU! See his scout pic and the letter he received (pics copied from other postings you may not follow, but I am sure they won’t mind sharing the joy!) Well, the Ladies Group has really been busy lately! Today we dropped off 20 dog kennel runners and 8 cat rugs made by our members for the Bridgeport Animal Hospital. Kim H. told us that they received a donation from a customer 3 years ago for runners made according to the American Kennel Association, but had been unable to find anyone who could help by sewing them. The Ladies Group volunteered to assist and delivered them today. We are not sure who was happier, Kim H. or all the dogs and cats!😂

Thanks to all the folks who showed up at the Paradise Methodist Church garage sale today! We have one more day to offer great bargains!
We will open at 9 am, and close at 1 pm. If you thought things were priced low today, they will be even lower on Saturday! We still have lots of books: mysteries, thrillers, fiction, paperback, hardback, sewing, quilting, and craft books! Sewing notions and fabric, toys, holiday decor. Lots of decor items, frames, vases, holiday items, games, puzzles, and so much more (including a pool table that is still available).
PRICES WILL BE LOWER THAN TODAY! We are eager to clear the rooms!
This is an indoor sale, so the rooms are cool. Come see and help us raise funds for our missions.
