The PMC Ladies' Group had a great time this week as they explored an antique mall, enjoyed lunch together (Mexican food, YUM!), and visited a thrift store in the same area. While the group still works on mission assignments for local charities, they try to get away once a month just for fun. A good time was had by all!

This is a small troop, but a hardworking group! These boys assembled 200+ rods and reels, plus attaching the hook in order to make Kid’s Fish Day for kids 14 and younger to participate in a fun day fishing at Wise County Park on Lake Bridgeport. The troop has done this for several years and a good time is had by all! Prizes for everyone! Thanks for all the hard work! Proud of you!

Our Ladies’ Group donated 20 blankets to Wise Choices Pregnancy Pregnancy Resource Center today. Although six women contributed to making the twenty blankets, there are only 5 in the picture. Here is a shoutout to these ladies (left to right): Patti Limke, Joyce Richardson, Gay Read, Val Wick, and Donna Worstell. Not pictured, but also a contributor is Kay Stephens.

The Ladies’ Group of Paradise Methodist Church are glad to help Wise Choices with their mission, and are very proud of this organization which does so much to help women get the care and options for a life decision. To find out more, visit mywisechoices.com .

Pastor Glenn just announced that due to weather conditions that will likely continue through the early hours on Sunday (or longer), Sunday School and Church services are canceled for tomorrow. Please, everyone stay indoors/home and stay safe! Enjoy the winter scenery from your window. God is good all the time!

Wanted to share with our church family the wonderful news for Noah, one of the boys from the Boy Scout Troop 194 who meet in our facilities each week. Noah graduated last spring and has been accepted to OU! See his scout pic and the letter he received (pics copied from other postings you may not follow, but I am sure they won’t mind sharing the joy!) To read the letter better, click on the picture to enlarge.

Congratulations, Noah! So proud of you!

Well, the Ladies Group has really been busy lately! Today we dropped off 20 dog kennel runners and 8 cat rugs made by our members for the Bridgeport Animal Hospital. Kim H. told us that they received a donation from a customer 3 years ago for runners made according to the American Kennel Association, but had been unable to find anyone who could help by sewing them. The Ladies Group volunteered to assist and delivered them today. We are not sure who was happier, Kim H. or all the dogs and cats!😂
