Advent

Imagine you are living in the land of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You would love to have a peaceful life with your family, but you have a tormentor bent on your destruction. They don’t see you as human and they definitely do not treat you as human. Suffering, pain of captivity and slavery, paying a heavy tax to keep the flames at bay that threaten to become a raging fire. And there is a plea, a prayer that your entire nation cries, “Moshiach. Moshiach now”
A promised saviour, redeemer, and the one who they call the Prince of Peace, Sar Ha Shalom.
That is the anticipation of Israel. That anticipation for the Messiah is the focus of Advent. This is the heart of the longing, the waiting. We are preparing our hearts for the coming of the One who can free us from from despair, and from all that holds both Israel and us captive, the weight of sin.
He is coming. It is not a myth, a legend, or an empty promise. There is a baby about to be born in Bethlehem, a town that has no place for Him. But He is still coming, and He is coming again.

Psalms 2 - The Reign of the LORD’S Anointed
​ Why do the nations rage
and the peoples plot in vain?
The kings of the earth set themselves,
and the rulers take counsel together,
against the LORD and against his Anointed, saying,
“Let us burst their bonds apart
and cast away their cords from us.”
He who sits in the heavens laughs;
the Lord holds them in derision.
Then he will speak to them in his wrath,
and terrify them in his fury, saying,
“As for me, I have set my King
on Zion, my holy hill.”
I will tell of the decree:
The LORD said to me, “You are my Son;
today I have begotten you.
Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage,
and the ends of the earth your possession.
You shall break them with a rod of iron
and dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”
Now therefore, O kings, be wise;
be warned, O rulers of the earth.
Serve the LORD with fear,
and rejoice with trembling.
Kiss the Son,
lest he be angry, and you perish in the way,
for his wrath is quickly kindled.
Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

Harei Yeshua(Hills of Salvation) is hoping to start doing ministry and outreach again. The L-rd has led us to focus on another ministry for a few years and we feel it is now time to begin to slowly re-focus on outreach to Israel and the Jews. We hope to resume once a month meetings and do some other outreach throughout the year. Ples pary for clear direction for this ministry.

Tonight we remember God's deliverance of His people Israel from slavery in Egypt and the fulfillment of His promise to Abraham, Issac and Jacob to give their decendants the land. Not only did God fulfill His promise but He has also returned them to the land after numerous exiles. And God has also delivered us from slavery to sin and death by sending his Son Yeshua(the Sacrifice Lamb) to make atonement for our sin and to give us eternal life through His resurrection from the dead. Chag Semeach Pesach!

Well here we go....setting the stage for Ezk 38 maybe.

The Soviet Union funded Palestinian terrorists but the policy changed to a more evenhanded one under Putin. That has changed and now Putin is backing the Palestinians.

Over the years, our ministry has changed and shifted its focus. Harei Yeshua has become a ministry focused on coming along side Messianic Jews in their pursuit of higher learning especially with a focus on future ministry. Through out the year we also host and lead community events for the purpose of educating the church on the Biblical feasts and Jewish traditions and historical context.

Harei Yeshua has been able to support multiple students in their education through its scholarship fund.
We have been blessed to be able to support students from Israel and the United States, including students from Oklahoma, New York, Connecticut, the Carolinas, California and Illinois.

At this time we have applications for scholarship funding that we are trying to assist with. However, the funds are low and we are unable to meet the needs of the current applicants.
