Our youth and leaders have returned from an uplifting week of service, friendship, and faith in Green Valley. Through their work and time in the "Rainbow Acres" community, they experienced God's love in powerful ways and came home with lasting memories and renewed spirits. ✨

Our Youth Group leaders and youth are embarking on their mission trip today! Rev. Robyn joined them for a special send-off prayer and blessing before their journey began. The group is traveling to a Residential Christian Community in Green Valley, Arizona, that supports promising futures for adults with developmental disabilities. Please keep them in your prayers as they serve, learn, and grow together in faith. We can’t wait to hear about their experiences when they return home.

A warm welcome can make all the difference. Our Greeter Ministry is looking for friendly faces who enjoy meeting new people, listening to their stories, and helping others feel at home at Saint Barnabas. Greeters serve just one Sunday each month.

For those in the Armed Forces of our Country

Almighty God, we commend to your gracious care and keeping all the men and women of our armed forces at home and abroad. Defend them day by day with your heavenly grace; strengthen them in their trials and temptations; give them courage to face the perils which beset them; and grant them a sense of your abiding presence wherever they may be;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

This week, work was completed on a new guardrail for the Saint Barnabas choir loft, including installation and final adjustments. We are grateful for this thoughtful addition that helps support the safety and comfort of our choir and musicians as they lead us in worship each week.

Tomorrow is Pentecost Sunday at Saint Barnabas! Come celebrate the arrival of the Holy Spirit as scripture is proclaimed in many languages during the reading from Acts, reflecting the beauty and unity of the Church around the world. Most importantly, don’t forget to WEAR RED TO CHURCH as we celebrate the fire of the Holy Spirit together. After the service, stay for a congregational group photo outside the Music Center. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Find the light and grow in community with the Saint Barnabas Young Adult Bible Study. Join other young adults for meaningful conversation, spiritual growth, and fellowship rooted in faith as we journey together through Scripture and life in Christ. We meet on the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 6:30–8pm in the Children’s Center Blue Room, and dinner is provided. Call the church office for more information.
