My final sermon as pastor of Palo Cristi Presbyterian Church. It was bittersweet, but I’ll help with our 5:30 pm Christmas Eve service on Friday night and then one more service Sunday, December 26 at 10! What a journey God has blessed me to travel!

This Sunday, December 19, will be my last sermon as pastor of Palo Cristi Presbyterian Church as I will retire on December 31! It is bittersweet! I LOVE being a pastor, especially of such a welcoming, progressive and wonderful congregation! I’ve been there two months shy of 10 years. The partnership we have established with Gloria Dei ELCA to become Gloria Christi has enabled me to finally take this step! I will miss everyone sooooo much, but they are in great hands with Brent Maxwell! I’ll still help with Christmas Eve and Dec. 26, but HELP is the operant word!!
