Christ Church of the Ascension's Vacation Bible School has been so much fun this week! Participants enjoyed exploring the biblical 12 Days of Christmas with games, crafts, stories, and music. Graduation Sunday at Christ Church of the Ascension was a beautiful yet bittersweet day of celebration! We gathered to honor:

- Rev. Jean on her final Sunday at CCA as she continues her journey to the priesthood
- Our incredible 2026 high school and college graduates
- The graduation of our four-year Education for Ministry (EfM) class

On Sunday, April 17, Christ Church of the Ascension celebrated Rev. Jean Hawkins and her ongoing journey toward the priesthood. In appreciation of her dedicated service, the parish gifted her a beautiful turquoise-inlaid wooden cross and a dinner gift card for her and her husband, Mark. We are blessed that Deacon Jean will continue to serve at CCA through May 17 before embarking on her next chapter!
