Meadows Church Leading people to Christ and their God-given purpose. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength.

I will never forget the day I was reading and reflecting on Scripture and God made it clear to me I was going to lead a church. The Scripture I was reading that day was Psalm 23, which says:

“The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He guides me along right paths,
bringing honor to his name.”
Psalms 23:1-3

I thought to myself, “That’s the church”. The church is the Bride of Christ and reminds us how much our Lord loves us and that he is all that we will ever need. The church – a place where we can find rest and prepare for another week in the battlefield of life. Where we can be led to God’s peace, a peace that passes all understanding. Where we can be renewed in his strength and guided down his path towards our purpose in life. And when we are living our God-given purpose, we aren’t just going to church – we are being the church and when that happens, God is glorified and we bring honor to his name. After reading Psalm 23 that day, I knew God was calling us to plant a church called Meadows.

ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK? | Afraid of the Light?

What if sometimes we're more afraid of the light than the darkness?

We want Jesus to illuminate our path, but sometimes we're uncomfortable when His light reveals the things we'd rather keep hidden.

Here's the good news:
**Walking in the light doesn't mean we no longer stumble. It means darkness is no longer where we choose to live.**

There's a difference between struggling with sin and settling in it. Jesus doesn't call us to perfection before we follow Him. He calls us into a life of continued transformation. And because He loves us, He refuses to leave us where He found us.

**What are you protecting from the light?**

Maybe it's time to stop defending what Jesus is asking you to surrender.
