Today the Church celebrates Ascension Day!

Forty days after he rose from the dead, Jesus ascended into heaven and sat at the right hand of the Father. The Ascension of Jesus is not about Jesus leaving the Church but about coming to us in far greater ways: through the Word and Sacraments, which Christians around the globe can receive.

We invite you to join us this Sunday to observe the Ascension at the Shelter House at 10:00 for worship. Sunday School and Bible Class will still take place at the church at 9:00 a.m. Hope to see you there!
