*SPIRITUAL DAILY DIGEST*

*VOICE OF THE LORD*

*PSALM 29:1–4*

_Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters. The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty._

*KEY VERSE*

_"The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters.” V.3_

*MESSAGE*

The scriptures clearly made us to know that the God spoke the world into existence. “And God said let there be ……..” This proves the great power and authority in the voice of God. It is therefore no surprise to see the great power of the voice of God manifesting on the waters.

This implies that anyone God has made His mouthpiece especially as word minister, song minister, prophet, evangelist, prayer warrior, etc, have a responsibility to uphold the culture of God. When Adam was still in the perfect image of God, he named all creatures according to the mind of God. When we remain in tune with God, our words convey the mind of God and it comes with power and authority.

As a child of God, you can speak things into existence. This is one reason your tongue should not be used for lying and uttering worldly messages. You cannot be singing praises for God and man with the same tongue. You cannot be singing holy and unholy songs with the same mouth. You can shut down powers of darkness and speak life into dead situations if you sanctify and consecrate your mouth for God. It is time to start exercising your authority in Christ through the voice of God in you.

*Supplication:*

_Almighty God, sanctify my tongue to exercise the authority of your voice to speak life into every dead situations, in Jesus name. Amen._

*CHURCH OF THE FIRST-BORN*

*HEBREWS 12:22-24*

_But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, and to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel._

*KEY VERSE*

_“To the general assembly and church of the first-born who are written in Heaven, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect” V.23_

*MESSAGE*

It is a wonderful day as we are reminded of the joy that Christ brought into our lives. We have formerly been convicted with no option for freedom, we were destined for an eternal life of condemnation but lo and behold, Christ appeared. He provided a way and restored us to God. This calls for a whole lot of celebration.

The law of sin and death given to us through Moses could not save us. In Christ, we have the law of the spirit that gives us the opportunity to rejoice with the host of angels. Are you part of this new covenant? Have you been fully inducted to the law of the spirit of life? There is only one law in the church of the firstborn, which is LOVE. A “Love” that is kind and does not envy, devoid of pride and selfishness, not easily provoked, rejoices in the truth and not iniquity (I Corinthians 13:4-6).

Anyone who is yet to imbibe these qualities of love is not part of the church of the first born. You must find it easy to forgive just like Christ.
The blood of Christ spoke better things than that of Abel. Does your life speak of the love that Christ exemplified? Love is the only key to the church of the firstborn written in heaven.

*Supplication:*

_Loving Father, perfect your love in me that I may not miss out of the church of the firstborn in heaven, in Jesus name. Amen._

*Text: JAMES 3:4-10*

_Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth. Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. *MESSAGE*

One of the most important part of the body is the tongue which relatively is the small but performs a great function. This part has a function of determining the destiny of his host which is the body. As a christian, your tongue holds the power to build and also destroy.

Many today are destroying the body of Christ with their utterances instead of edifying it. When any bad thing happen, they are the first to share the news but never share news of good things happening in the church. They want to pray for destrucution of enemies rather than their redemption. It is the same mentality that many have taken into their relationship with their spouses, children, friends and relatives.

When anyone offends you, as a christian, you still have a responsibility to speak positively. Your husband that is acting irrationally will not suddenly change for the better when you start cursing him, rather you should pronounce blessings into his life. The devil in his craftiness usually deceive us to speak negatively. We must reject such and learn to speak positively always.

_Almighty God, control my heart and thoughts to the paths of righteousness that I can always declare goodness, in Jesus name. Amen._

Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. *MESSAGE*

Welcoming you to the month of June. It shall be a month of goodness to everyone in the mighty name of Jesus. The month has come with an exhortation to profess positively to our lives because God has great plans for us that can only be activated through faith.

Your identity as a child of God comes with great authority and power to root out any ungodly implantation and to plant the godly ones. It is time to exercise your authority in Christ to destroy every seed of illness, barrenness, stagnancy and poverty. It is time to welcome God’s abundant blessings made available through Christ. Stop denying yourself of the privileges available to you in Christ. This privilege is not for you and your children alone but to many people who will believe in Christ through you.

Rise up from your state of depression and jump for joy in preparation for the good-news that is coming your way. You are no longer going to be a local champion but your name will be going international because your manifestation will be in many nations. If you believe in this prophesy, shout Halleluyah!

*LIGHT OF THE EARTH*

*MATTHEW 5:14–16*

_Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven._

*KEY VERSE*

_“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” V.16_

*MESSAGE*

Light illuminates and exposes every evil thing. As such, Jesus attributing us to be the light of the world is rather a call to responsibility. The darkness that covers the earth includes characters like; bitterness, wrath, evil speaking, malice, covetousness, fornication, bribery and other fruits of the flesh. You are to exhibit godly behavior to neutralize the power of the devil through righteousness.

We must shine the light of good works in every way and at every place. It is disheartening to find acclaimed christians living irresponsibly by drinking and womanizing. How dare you teach or preach God when you live an ungodly life? Are you not ashamed? Whom do you think you are deceiving?

A Christ like way of life will promote the glory of God meaning that you must lead others to imbibe goodness. You must a model that others can learn from because you are the epistle of this time. Shine your light today and shame the world of darkness.

_Glorious God, help me to shine and overcome the evil work of darkness in my life, in Jesus name. Amen._

*SALT OF THE EARTH*

*MATTHEW 5:10-13*

_Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men._

*KEY VERSE*

_“You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt loses its savor, with what shall it be salted? It is no longer good for anything, but to be thrown out and to be trodden underfoot by men.” V.13_

*MESSAGE*

Salt performs two major functions; it add tastes to food and also serve as a preservative. Thus, when Jesus called us the salt of the earth, He is invariably calling us to these two major responsibilities as it pertains to our relationship with others on earth. You are the salt of the world according to the scriptures and should add sweetness to the world.

The world is already embittered by the influence of Satan infecting people with sin syndrome that will usher them into destruction. Our presence should add sweetness to people’s life through our character, speech and actions. We can bring them to the path of salvation by preaching the good news of Christ to them in love and passion.

Any christian whose life does not draw people to Christ is a tasteless salt that will be thrown away and will be trampled upon. It becomes rather important not to lose our taste-adding property. In your marriage, you must be a joy to your spouse and children. In your neighbourhood, you must be joy to people in the community. In your workplace/school, you must be a joy to your colleagues.

*Supplication:*

_Almighty Father, give me the power to add sweetness to people’s lives today and forever more, in Jesus name. Amen._

_“Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.” Colossians 4:6_

*TOPIC: HEAVENLY RICHES*

*TEXT: EPHESIANS 3: 5-10*

_"Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; that the Gentiles should be fellow-heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God"_

*KEY VERSE*

_“Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;” V.8_

*MESSAGE*

God’s riches are beyond human comprehension, they cannot be measured by arithmetic, reason, imagination, or even words. They are truly unsearchable and no matter how deeply we study or explore, Christ remains infinitely greater. The treasures of Christ includes mercy, grace, joy, peace, and eternal life; gifts that no material wealth can equal. Jesus Christ is the source of every true blessing and He is always willing to supply our needs beyond our expectations when we trust Him completely.

There is no love greater than the love of Christ, neither in heaven nor on earth. To know Him and to be found in Him is the greatest treasure of all. When we surrender to His will, we experience the fullness of His grace and the depth of His mercy. His riches are not limited to material blessings but encompass spiritual abundance such as forgiveness, salvation, and eternal fellowship with God.

Therefore, let your heart not be troubled by the vanity of the world. The riches of the earth fade away, but the riches of Christ endure forever. Remember that God loves you more than you can ever love yourself. Entrust your life to Him completely, and His unsearchable riches will overflow in your life now and be fully revealed in eternity.

*SUPPLICATION:*

_Heavenly Lord, grant unto me the grace to walk in the riches of Your mercy and to live in abundant glory in Your kingdom forever, in Jesus name, Amen._

*TOPIC: DON'T PANIC*

*TEXT: MATTHEW 6:25-29*

_Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these._

*KEY VERSE*

_“Which of you by being anxious can add one cubit to his stature?” V.27_

*MESSAGE*

Economic recession, insecurity, inflation, sickness, broken homes and many other life issues have forced many to think deeply about what the next day might bring. The poor are hoping for better days and the rich are afraid of falling down the ladder of prosperity. These worries, however, have been found to cause more harm than good, as cases of high blood pressure, depression and su***de are on the rise. Worries do not produce results, but rather complicate matters; therefore, it is advisable to limit them and put our absolute trust in God.

Fear and a lack of faith in God are the root causes of worry. We should keep God's promises in mind when we confront difficulties since He has promised us victory before the difficulties ever began. Since our concern won't solve the problem, it is our duty to have faith in His promises and wait for His manifestation in that circumstance.

It is more efficient for us to not restrict God's manifestation throughout our waiting period. By restricting God's modes of manifestation, the four lepers (2 Kings 7:3-5) and Namman, captain of the host (2 Kings 5:10–13), would have missed the manifestation of God. His manifestations can take many different forms, thus it is our duty to be prepared to do whatever he asks of us in order to solve the issue. Don't worry; a plan for your escape was already in place before you were ever conceived. Keep your faith in him, as he is capable of carrying out his promises.

_Jehovah Jireh, I commit all my cares unto you. Please supply all my needs according to your riches in glory, in Jesus name. Amen._

*TOPIC: LET IT SHINE*

*TEXT: MATTHEW 5:14-16*

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven._

*KEY VERSE*

_“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” V.16_

*MESSAGE*

Having light within you is not enough, the command is to let that light shine. This means it is a personal responsibility for your light to shine which cannot be fully revealed by either your mentor, pastor, or others. You need to make your light visible in every aspect of life, not only in church but also at work and among all people. The verse states “before men,” emphasizing that your light must shine before everyone. You cannot be half in the light and half in darkness; you must choose to shine for Christ fully.

Peter is a powerful example. Though he followed Jesus passionately, he once denied Him thrice, showing that fear can dim our light temporarily. However, after receiving the Holy Spirit on the Pentecost day, Peter boldly shone brightly, preaching to thousands and standing firm for Christ. God promises restoration and empowerment to those who choose to consistently let their light shine. What glorifies God is a life of consistency, not a double life of compromise.

As believers, God calls us not to hide our faith but to live it boldly, reflecting His love and truth in all areas of our lives. Our good works are not for our own glory, but so that others may see God’s grace shining through us and glorify the Father in heaven. This is how we fulfill our calling as the light of the world.

*SUPPLICATION:*

_Gracious Lord, help me live a life that reflects Your light in every place that I can always bring glory to Your name, in Jesus name. Amen._

*REFLECTION:*
