KINGDOM OVER CASTLE.
This past Sunday, Pastor Brian Nutt challenged us with a question:
Are we building God’s Kingdom or protecting our castle?
It’s easy to protect what’s comfortable.
Our traditions.
Our preferences.
Our resources.
Our buildings.
Our way of doing things.
But Jesus didn’t call us to hide behind the walls.
He called us to GO.
Go into our neighborhoods.
Go into our workplaces.
Go into our schools.
Go into our homes.
Go into our communities.
“You will be my witnesses…” Acts 1:8
The Church isn’t meant to be a fortress where we hide. It’s an outpost where the Gospel advances.
So this week, let’s ask ourselves:
Are we protecting what we have or deploying what God has given us?
Because the goal isn’t to build the best castle.
The goal is to advance the Kingdom.

Sunday, we were reminded of a powerful truth from Matthew 28:16–20: the Church is a Church on mission.
Jesus didn’t call us simply to gather, but to go and make disciples. Our mission isn’t something we created; it comes directly from Christ, who has all authority and calls us to follow Him.
Discipleship is more than believing in Jesus. It’s learning to follow Him, obey His Word, serve others, love our neighbors, and live lives that increasingly look like Jesus.
And the best news? We don’t go alone. Jesus promises, “I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
So as we head into the rest of this week, let’s ask:
1. Who has God placed in my path?
2.Who can I encourage, serve, or walk alongside?
3.Where is God calling me to live out my faith?
The mission field is wherever God has placed you. Let’s go make disciples and live out the Gospel wherever we are!
