Many churches are beginning to re-examine their disciple-making tools, efforts and strategies. According to Carey Nieuwhof's blog post "7 Church Trends That Will Disrupt 2024", trend number four is "Discipleship has a growing digital component". The problem is that most church management platforms do not provide the functionality needed to effectively track, manage and report on the church's discipleship efforts and activities. That's because church management systems track membership, not ministry. The churches that have come to us tell us they needed a better way to track who is actively engaged in discipleship and who is not. Additionally, they wanted to know if their disciple-makers are making disciples who make disciples.
