Men’s Fellowship - Putting Fellowship Into Action

On July 11, members of our Men’s Fellowship gathered early to pressure wash areas around Holy Nativity. Michael Lovchuk, Douglas Smith, Hercules Pettis, Tim Pride, Chris Tucker, and Matthew Ward all pitched in to help.

Dan Finley was also at the church doing some work in the library, and Kat helped with the pressure washing while also taking a few photos.

We are grateful to everyone who gave their time to help care for our church property. Fellowship can happen in many ways - sometimes over a meal or conversation, and sometimes while working side by side.

Welcome to September!
September is full of opportunities to worship, learn, serve, and simply spend time together at Holy Nativity. This month, Adult Bible Study meets Tuesdays at noon, Wonderful Wednesdays continue each week, Children’s Sunday School returns September 13, and several of our ministries are busy serving our community.
And make plans now for one of Holy Nativity’s favorite traditions - Shell Island Sunday on September 27. Whether you have been part of Holy Nativity for decades or are just beginning to look for a church home, there is a place for you here.

BayLights 2026 is coming to Camp Beckwith September 25-27!

Although lodging at Camp Beckwith is full for the weekend, you can still come out and enjoy the activities, meals, music, and fellowship. Friday night features dinner and live music from The Collared Greens - and Fr. Forbes is a member of the band! Saturday includes the Bishop’s BBQ lunch, swimming, zip line, games, Wacky Art, ice cream, and more. Saturday evening wraps up with a Low Country Boil and music by The Modern Eldorados.

The BayLights drawdown ticket gives you a chance to win a 2026 street-legal golf cart or $5,000. Purchase your ticket by Wednesday, September 2, for just $100. After September 2, tickets increase to $125.

Holy Nativity’s Men’s Fellowship enjoyed a wonderful gathering with 12 men in attendance, including several friends from St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.

Good food, great conversation, and fellowship made for a meaningful time together. Special thanks to Fr. Tom for sharing his thoughts on men’s fellowship and the importance of building strong connections among the men of the church.
