11 But you, O man of God, flee from these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
1 Timothy 6:11

People of God there are some things we’ve got to run away from, and there are some things we’ve got to run toward.
Think about it like this: if your house is on fire, you don’t stop to rearrange the furniture, you get out fast. That’s how Paul says we should flee from anything that can burn up our faith: greed, pride, bitterness, and distractions. But once we’re out, we don’t just stand there. We move forward, chasing after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.

Prayer:

Lord, help us to flee from anything that doesn’t line up with You. Give us the strength to pursue righteousness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness. Help us to run this race with purpose and finish strong. In Jesus’ name, amen.

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here.

2 Corinthians 5:17

We all need a second chance to try again and do better. But God offers us something even greater. Through His gift of Jesus, He doesn’t just give us another chance; He makes us brand new. Scripture reminds us that He is the God of new things (Isaiah 43:19), able to refresh our hearts, renew our minds, and restore our lives.

In Christ, we receive more than forgiveness and cleansing—we are made holy and completely new. As families and individuals, let’s embrace this New Year as a beautiful opportunity to start fresh. The past is behind us, and a new season is before us. Let’s step into it together, choosing to live vibrant, faith-filled lives that honor God and reflect His love in our homes.

The old year is gone. The New Year has come. Let’s live it fully for Jesus.

Prayer

LORD, thank You for the gift of a New Year and a fresh start. Please give us wisdom and strength to serve You with integrity and faithfulness in the days ahead. We place our lives, our families, our plans, and our future in Your hands. Do Your work in us and through us as we follow You. We pray this through Jesus, our intercessor and Lord. Amen.

Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.
John 1:12

Our identity is not earned, but it is received. Through faith in Jesus, we are welcomed into God’s family. The world often defines us by performance, titles, or failures, but God defines us by relationship. When we believe in Christ, we are no longer outsiders; we are sons and daughters with full access to the Father’s love, grace, and promises.

Being a child of God means we walk with confidence, not because of who we are, but because of whose we are. No matter what today brings, we can live knowing we are accepted, chosen, and deeply loved.

Prayer

Father God, thank You for the gift of becoming Your children through faith in Jesus. Help us to live each day rooted in our identity in You, not in fear or doubt. Remind us that we belong to You and that Your love never fails. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Happy Veterans Day!Thank you for your service. May God bless you in abundance.

Create in me a clean heart, Oh Lord, and renew a right spirit within me.” - Psalms 51:10

Prayer:

Dear God , if there is sin in my life that hinders my prayer, forgive me. I repent of my mediocrity and lukewarm attitude and want to be on fire for you again, Oh Lord. Restore the fire I had when I first trusted you as Lord. I want to renew my commitment to you. Help me to pray without ceasing, to read and study your word, and to put you first in all that I do. Don’t cast me away from your presence and allow the sweet fellowship I had with the Comforter to rekindle. Father, create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. May the Holy Spirit lead me into your truth as I renew my zeal and commitment with you. In Jesus’ name, amen

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:'

Matthew 7:7

God is always answering your prayer. If you haven't seen it manifest, don't doubt God, but recognize that you're fighting an enemy, and persevere. Stand on your faith. Pray without ceasing until you see the answer.

The Lord is my Strength and my [impenetrable] Shield; my heart trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song will I praise Him.

Psalm 28:7 (AMPC)

Prayer Starter:

Father, please help me get through all the things on my plate today. I want to do it without frustration, but I can’t do it without You. Thank You for the grace to accomplish what I need to do, and for giving me the wisdom I need as I make decisions! In Jesus’ name, amen.

God’s great plans for your life will unfold day by day as you continue to live by His Word and let Him lead you. Remember this when the devil hurls accusations against you in your mind. Remind him of the blood of Jesus and the word of your testimony, which is that God is healing you and strengthening you more and more each day. Open the Word of God and read all the wonderful things God says about you instead of listening to the enemy’s lies.

Prayer of the Day: Lord, help me trust Your Word and reject the enemy’s lies. Heal my mind and soul, and strengthen my faith in Your promises, amen.

Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.

(1 Thess. 5:23–24)

God’s will for your life is that you be faithful as he is faithful. Faithful to him. Faithful to others. Faithful in this moment. Faithful to the end. That which he wills, he also enables.

"All things are lawful for me,’ but not all things are helpful. ‘All things are lawful for me,’ but I will not be dominated by anything.” -

1 Corinthians 6:12

Let’s Pray:

Father, show me your ways and teach me your paths. Guide me towards your truth and wisdom. Empower me to identify the things in my life that I need to change so I am growing in godly character and righteousness. Give me the tools I need to change, the people I need to remain faithful, and the courage I need to try something new. Help me to die to myself and surrender all I have to your way. I trust you with my whole heart and am asking you to guide my path. Help me build habits that honor you and enrich my life. Amen.
