Whew… that hit hard!😮‍💨

“Every time you don’t love someone the way Jesus would love them, you’ve sinned.”

As we continue through 1 Corinthians chapter 9, Pastor Jay gave us a reminder that will make you stop and examine your own heart. Are we loving people with patience, grace, forgiveness, and compassion... the way Jesus would?

As we continue through 1 Corinthians chapter 9, Pastor Jay reminds us of a truth we hear each week: the fruit of the Spirit should be evident in the way we live. 🌿

Our Christian liberty isn’t simply about what we have the right to do. It’s about choosing to put the Gospel first, serve others well, and reflect Christ in everything we do.

May these words be more than something we hear each week. May they be evident in the way we live, love, and serve others. 🤍

The more we grow in our understanding of God's Word, the more we should reflect the heart of Christ. Biblical knowledge isn't about elevating ourselves above others; it's about loving others well. If what we know isn't making us more humble, more gracious, and more compassionate, we've missed the point.

In 1 Corinthians 8:1-13, Paul reminds us that having knowledge isn't enough. LOVE must lead the way.

As we grow in our faith, it's easy to forget what it was like to be a new believer. But spiritual maturity isn't measured by how much we know; it's revealed by how we love, encourage, and care for those who are still growing.

The goal isn't to win arguments or prove we're right. It's to help one another grow closer to Christ.

As Pastor Jay reminded us, Christ died for the mature disciple and the immature disciple alike. May we extend the same grace, patience, and compassion to others that Jesus has shown to us.

Singleness isn't a season to simply "get through." It's an opportunity to be fully devoted to the Lord.📖

In 1 Corinthians 7:25-40, Paul reminds us that our relationship status doesn't determine our value or our purpose. Whether single or married, our highest calling is the same: to know Christ, serve Him faithfully, and live with eternity in view.

Marriage is a gift from God, but so is singleness. Neither is meant to distract us from our ultimate purpose—to glorify Jesus with our lives.

As Pastor Jay reminded us, choose the path that draws you closer to Christ, not one that pulls you away from Him.
