Great word from our new Student Pastor Duane Casarez yesterday. We are excited to watch our students take a deep dive into knowing God and making Him known!

I am more excited about this year of student ministry than I can begin to express!

Oops! We’re a little behind… here’s your Day 3 recap! 😅

We kicked off the day bright and early with a record number of students and sponsors taking on the Falls Creek 5K and Fun Run! Nearly 35 of our students and 6 sponsors hit the course at 6:45 a.m. and quickly discovered that the “hills” here are a little different than what we’re used to in the flat Texas Panhandle! 😂🏃‍♂️⛰️

The fun continued with fishing, rec and more tournament action. Our Kickball Team 2 and High School Boys Volleyball team both picked up big wins and advanced to play again!

Most importantly, God continues to move in the hearts of our students. The messages reminded us that our greatest purpose is sharing the hope of Jesus with a world that desperately needs Him. We also celebrated one student who sensed God calling them into ministry!

Please continue praying for our group as we study The Greatest Relationship and continue seeking what God has for us this week.

Day 2 was another great day at Falls Creek!

Our juniors, seniors and recent graduates had the opportunity to attend Daybreak, where they were challenged to grow as leaders and deepen their faith.

The afternoon was full of fun with fishing, swimming, the creek, zip lining, rec and volleyball. We’re excited to say we picked up our first wins in both the high school coed and high school boys volleyball tournaments! 🏐

Most importantly, God continues to move in our students’ hearts. Through worship, Bible study and small groups, they were challenged to make worship a daily lifestyle and took time to share practical ways they want to grow closer to Christ. It has been encouraging to watch them encourage and hold one another accountable.

Please continue praying for our group today as we study The Greatest Purpose: Advancing the Kingdom of God. Pray that our students would have boldness to live out and share their faith.

What a great first day at Falls Creek! 🎉

Yesterday we traveled in style thanks to the generous support of our church family, who sponsored our Village Travel Charters. Thank you for investing in our students and making this week possible!

On the way, we stopped at HeyDay in Norman for some team building, fun and time with old and new friends. Then we conquered the cabin hill… approximately 7,351 times. 😂

Last night, Daniel Ritchie challenged us with the beginning of this week’s study on the Great Commission, and God continued to work through our small groups as students opened up, shared honestly and prayed for one another.

Please pray for us today as we focus on The Greatest: Response (Worship). Pray that our students would have open hearts, worship sincerely and continue growing in their relationship with Christ.

🔥 NERF BATTLE TONIGHT! 🔥

Get ready for one of the most fun nights of the summer! Join us tonight, from 6:00–8:00 PM in The Vault for an epic Nerf Battle.

Bring a friend, wear dark clothes, and come ready for action. Students are welcome to bring their own Nerf blasters, but please do not bring any air-powered blasters. We’ll have plenty of fun and foam flying all night long!

Hey parents!

Just a reminder that we will have our Falls Creek Parent Meeting this Sunday immediately after church in The Vault.

This meeting is very important, as we will be going over camp details, schedules, packing information, transportation, and other important information you and your student will need before camp.

The final camp payment will also be due at this meeting. If you have any remaining balance, please plan to take care of that on Sunday.

We are excited about what God is going to do at camp this year and look forward to sharing all the final details with you. If you have any questions before Sunday, please let us know.
