The Invitation Still Stands
No matter what kind of week you've had, God's invitation has not changed. He is still calling people to come to Him, find rest, and discover the hope that only He can give.
Church isn't a place for people who have everything together—it's a place where ordinary people meet an extraordinary Savior.
We would love for you to join us this Sunday at First Assembly of God as we worship, pray, and grow together in God's Word.
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." — Matthew 11:28 (KJV)
Whether you're looking for a church home, returning after time away, or simply searching for hope, you'll find a warm welcome here. We hope to see you this Sunday.

**Peace Isn't Found in Perfect Circumstances**

We all face days when life feels uncertain. The wonderful news of the gospel is that God's peace is not based on our circumstances—it is found in His presence.

No matter what this week has brought, you don't have to carry it alone. Call out to God in trust and surrender and you will find He is there.

*"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."* — Isaiah 26:3 (KJV)

There is a place for you at First Assembly of God. We'd love to welcome you. Join us this Sunday for special guests, Phased In with Kile Bateman.

Life can feel heavy when we carry everything by ourselves. God created us for community—for encouragement, prayer, laughter, and support.
Who could use a kind word from you today? Send a message, make a call, or take a moment to pray for them. A small act of love may be exactly what they need.
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up.”
—1 Thessalonians 5:11
Let’s begin this week by being the kind of community that notices, cares, and reaches out. ❤️

🌿 **Monday Reminder: God Is Already There**

A new week can bring a lot with it—plans, responsibilities, worries, decisions, and unexpected moments. But before we take one step into this Monday, we can rest in this truth:

**“The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” — Deuteronomy 31:8**

What a comfort to know that God is not trying to catch up with our week. He is already ahead of us, preparing the way, giving strength, and offering peace.

So today, pause for a moment. Take a breath. Pray over your week. Trust that you do not walk alone.

What if this week started with one simple prayer?

“Lord, help me notice who needs encouragement today.”

Sometimes loving our neighbor looks like a big act of service. Other times, it looks like a text message, a kind word, a prayer, a meal, or simply taking time to listen.

Jesus said, **“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” — Matthew 22:39**

This week, let’s be a church family that carries the love of Christ beyond Sunday morning and into everyday life.

Who is one person you can encourage today?

🙏 Drop their first name in the comments, or simply say “praying,” and let’s lift up our community together.
