As Pride month begins, save the date for a gathering commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1976 General Convention resolution declaring that LGBTQ+ people have a full and equal claim to the pastoral care and support of The Episcopal Church. The event, “Full and Equal: 50 Years in Pursuit of a Promise,” will celebrate progress and acknowledge the work that remains.

The three-day gathering, held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Sept. 3-5, will include storytelling coaching, workshops, a banquet, and a Eucharist featuring Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe as presider and Bishop Gene Robinson as preacher. Spanish-language interpretation will be available.

More registration details will follow. Please save the date and help spread the word.

Diocese invited to join Commission on LGBTQ+ Ministries at L.A. Pride June 14

The Bishop’s Commission on LGBTQ+ Ministries warmly invites the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles community and friends to join the Annual L.A. Pride Parade on Sunday, June 14 at 11 a.m.

"This year’s LA Pride theme, 'Rising with Pride,' calls us to show up with courage, joy, and faith — bearing witness to the Way of Love in the heart of our city," planners say. "As a diocese, our presence at Pride is more than participation—it is proclamation. Together, we embody a Church that celebrates, affirms, and stands alongside LGBTQ+ people as beloved children of God. We will gather as an official diocesan parade contingent, offering a visible and faithful witness of inclusion and love. A Holy Eucharist service will be offered prior to the parade, with Bishop-elect Rev. Dr. Antonio José Gallardo Lucena grounding our witness in prayer and community."

“Now more than ever, we are called to be visible in our faith in Christ—proclaiming that all of God’s children deserve dignity, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity,” said Thomas Diaz, chair of the Bishop’s Commission on LGBTQ+ Ministries. “We are called to be bearers of that love, making it known that the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles not only welcomes you, but affirms that all LGBTQ+ people are beloved children of God.”

Registration is required to be part of our diocesan parade contingent. To sign up as an individual or as a congregation, please email: [email protected]. Registration link and additional details to come.

The 55th Annual St. Francis Antiques Show & Sale has concluded and was a great success! After a wonderful Gala evening, the show continued through Saturday — and none of it would be possible without our incredible volunteers and setup crew.

From hauling tables and hanging signs to arranging treasures and transforming the Parish Hall, this dedicated team has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this beloved tradition come to life. Thank you for your hard work, good humor, and generous spirit — St. Francis shines because of you!

And thank you to everyone to attended, purchased items at the sale, and helped support the mission and outreach ministries of St. Francis.

Watch our social media for a recap of the event soon!
