Peace Memorial Church UCC Worship Sundays at 9:30 am followed by fellowship hour. Communion takes place on the first Sunday. We would love to have you join us some Sunday for worship.

Peace Memorial Church United Church of Christ is a faith-filled Christian community focused extending the extravangant love, grace and mercy of Jesus Christ to all. We believe strongly that "no matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here!"

If you do not currently have a church home where you can actively worship, l

earn and serve—a church home where you truly feel you belong—then we invite you to consider if Peace Memorial Church might be the right church family for you. Sunday morning worship starts at 9:30 am in our sanctuary. Children ages 3 to sixth grade usually stay in the worship service up until a children's sermon. After the children's sermon those children who wish to attend Sunday School are dismissed to the Christian Education wing for the rest of the service. Communion takes place on the first Sunday of the month.

It's September and we have PACKED our calendar!

Sept 13th: Anniversary Sunday (Join us at 9:30am to commemorate the occasion with a special worship service for 50 years in Palos Park, and 140 years as a congregation!)

Sept 19th: You can find us at Palos Park's Autumn In The Park Festival and parade! We are walking the parade with the shopping cart brigade again, collecting food for the Orland Food Pantry! You can bring your non perishable donations directly to the parade, or swing by the festival grounds and stop to say hello at our booth!
(Side note: Want to walk with us? Sign up available in the Narthex or by calling the church office directly)

Sept. 20th: The fun hasn't stopped! Join us for our annual favorite event (although, it seems like they are all becoming fan favorites). CELEBRATION SUNDAY! Cook County Sheriff k9s will be back, alongside our friends at the Palos Fire Protection District! Enjoy lunch from Joey's Red Hots and make sure to stick around for lawn games, popsicles and a scavenger hunt! Meet the committees!

Sept. 26th: We're still going! Grab your lederhosen and join us for our annual Oktoberfest from 5-9pm! A spectacular evening full of fun, gift baskets, music and more! Tickets available by calling the church office directly, or Sunday mornings!

We have a lot to offer, and we sure hope you will Come Be a Piece of Peace! There's something for everyone!

We did it! The weather finally cooperated (but of course the universe heard it was Food Truck Friday so we got tricked in thinking it was going to rain) We hosted our first PMC car show with over 20 cars in attendance alongside our final Food Truck Friday of the season. Overwhelming THANK YOU to everyone who came out and made this long anticipated evening such a FUN success! The walking tacos were a hit, The Handsome Jerks kept us rocking all night. Joey's Red Hots and Peppo's Subs kept us fed all night, while Paradise Sweets & Eats Chicagoland Area and Cookie's Gluten Free Kitchen provided sweet treats all night! Thank you to everyone who helped set up and take down, and for all your patience in the weather delays and location changes. We are already planning for next summer and we cannot THANK YOU enough for all the fun of this year!
