Each one of us has been gifted with a talent by God; a talent which God has given us for the growth of His Holy Church. Matthew, he who buries his talents is not rewarded, but he who multiplies his talents, for the Glory of God, will receive treasures in heaven! We are grateful to all those who stepped forward, rolled up their sleeves, and made things happen. They spoke very little, but they accom

plished much. The only reward we hope to get is that in the fullness of time, we will hear the words of our Lord: “Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord.”

WEEKLY REFLECTION

“Rejoice, O Christian when you feel the weight of your cross! That means that you have one, for a Christian without a cross is not a Christian.”

WEEKLY REFLECTION

"It says in the Bible: 'Honour thy father and thy mother that it may be well with you,' and: 'He that curseth his father or his mother shall surely be put to death.' If in the Old Testament - which is merely the shadow of the law of the New Testament - God commanded children to honor their parents for bringing them into life, how much more so does this commandment apply to one's spiritual father. If honoring one's parents in the flesh brings so many blessings, how much more so does honoring one's spiritual father."

WEEKLY REFLECTION

"The soul is greater than the body: the body becomes sick, and with that it is finished. But a spiritual sickness extends into eternity. Deliver us, O lord, from such illness, and grant us healing."
