For 14 weeks, we’ve walked through the book of Acts.

Different people.
Different gifts.
Different stories.

But one thing kept happening:

The Gospel kept moving because ordinary people kept saying, “Yes, Lord."

This week, we met Phoebe.

She didn’t write the message. She simply carried it—and because someone carried the message, someone else got to hear it.

And today, we were reminded that the story is still being written.

We had the joy of celebrating baptism and witnessing new steps of faith. As a church family, we were also reminded of our promise to surround one another with love, support, prayer, and opportunities to grow in Christ.

Acts may end at chapter 28…

But we are living Chapter 29.

The Gospel is still moving.
Lives are still being changed.
And now, we get to carry the message forward.

Who has God placed in your life?

Carry the message.
Share the love of Jesus.

The story goes on.

What a wonderful morning of worship at Gravel Hill! 💛

Today we were blessed to welcome Guest Speaker Rev. Al Smith, who shared from 1 Timothy 4:11–16 and reminded us of something we all need to hear:

No matter where you are in your journey of faith, you have something to offer.

Paul’s words to Timothy weren’t simply “don’t let anyone look down on you.” They were a call to live in a way that points people toward Christ—in our speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity.

And none of us are finished growing.

Rev. Al challenged us to stay rooted in Scripture, develop the gifts God has given us, encourage those around us, and keep asking:

"God, how am I growing?”

Whether you’re just beginning your walk with Christ or you’ve been following Him for decades, your faith matters. Your gifts matter. You have a place in the Body of Christ.

Thank you, Rev. Al, for sharing such an encouraging message with us today!

What comes out of us when we can’t change what’s happening around us?

Today in our Go With Us series, we met Paul and Silas in one of their darkest moments. Beaten, imprisoned, and unable to change their circumstances, they did something remarkable: they prayed and sang. Their circumstances hadn’t changed yet—but they chose how they would respond.

Pastor Zim reminded us that praise isn’t something reserved for the good days. Even in the dark, God is still God. And sometimes, the way we respond in our hardest moments speaks louder than we realize.
