This Sunday, we invite you to join us as we gather around the Lord’s Table and remember the sacrifice, love, and grace of Jesus Christ.

Communion will be served at all three services:
⏰ 8:00 AM Traditional Worship
⏰ 9:15 AM Contemporary Worship
⏰ 10:30 AM Contemporary Worship

At Gravel Hill, we practice open communion, which means all who seek to follow Jesus are welcome at His table.

🔥 POWER 🔥

Today we kicked off our new summer sermon series, Go With Us, with a powerful reminder from Acts 2:1–13:

God never intended us to follow Jesus on our own.

On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came upon the early church and empowered ordinary people to do extraordinary things. That same Holy Spirit is still at work today—guiding us, strengthening us, and helping us live out our faith every day.

This summer, we'll journey through the book of Acts and meet ordinary people who were transformed by the power and presence of God. Each week we'll discover how the Holy Spirit worked through people like Peter, Stephen, Lydia, Timothy, and others—and how He still works through us today.

As Pastor Zim shared this morning, the question isn't whether God's power is available.

The question is:

Are we missing the power of God in our lives?

As you go into this week, remember:

🕊️ The same Spirit who moved in the book of Acts still moves today.
🕊️ The same Spirit who empowered the early church empowers believers today.
🕊️ The same Spirit who went with them goes with us.

What do you do when you realize Jesus is real?

This Sunday at Gravel Hill, we concluded our Road to Emmaus series with Luke 24:33–35 and the powerful response of the disciples after encountering the risen Christ. Once they recognized Jesus, they couldn’t stay silent — they ran back to Jerusalem to share the good news.

As we gathered on Memorial Day weekend and Pentecost Sunday, we were reminded that real encounters with Jesus change us, move us, and send us out to share His love with the world.

👉 “They got up and returned at once to Jerusalem…” — Luke 24:33

May we live with that same courage, hope

This Sunday on the Road to Emmaus, we explored a powerful truth from Luke 24:30–32: Jesus is revealed in shared space, not just explained truth.

The disciples didn’t finally recognize Jesus through another lesson or explanation. They recognized Him when they sat down at the table together and broke bread. In the same way, Christ still meets us today through worship, fellowship, hospitality, and community.

We were also blessed to celebrate Graduation Sunday as we prayed over students stepping into new seasons of life and faith. What a beautiful reminder that God continues to walk with us on every road ahead.
