What does the Theology of the Body have to teach us about bodily suffering?

What can Jesus' wounds show us about our wounds?

What can we learn from the Theology of the Body about abandoning ourselves to the will of God?

Today's episode is part III of a series on the Theology of the Body with guests Chris O'Neill, Director of the Office of Marriage and Family Life for the Archdiocese of New Orleans, and Trey Weaver, Coordinator of Youth & Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of Baton Rouge.

With Jillian, they'll explore what the Theology of the Body has to teach us as we walk the path of infertility.

Take this to heart as we begin the month of June:

God has never, and will never, abandon you. Ever.

He waits and grieves and walks with you.

His death on the Cross was His entering into the very depths of human suffering – so that when you feel that you are in the depths yourself, you find Him already there, waiting for you.

We hope that you can rest in His Sacred Heart this month. 🔥

Infertility is hard – we get it. That's why we're here.

But on this week's podcast episode, Cassi is sharing a message of HOPE!

This message applies wherever you are on the path of infertility, even if you are navigating childlessness as a Catholic.

You have amazing things to look forward to in your life.

God loves you – yes, YOU!

And the deepest desires of your heart are not a secret from God, our loving Father.

"I realized I had stopped asking the Lord what His desires for me are, and had stopped praying for His will to be done in the midst of praying for my healing," writes Caroline on the blog today.

"I had stopped just letting Him love me.

And as I’m writing this, know that I’m just beginning this process and that I don’t have all the answers.

I’m just beginning to be reminded again that union with Jesus forever is the goal."

It was the day after my 30th birthday, and I was lamenting to one of my best friends how burnt out I was. I was burnt out from the burdens I was carrying at work as well as with my own healing, which I felt had just taken another

How do you feel about "that room" in your home (you know the one)?

What if that space became a place of joy instead of grief?

Staci shares about how she transformed her guest room/catch-all room/potential nursery into a "nourishing room."

"While many of us face the hard reality that we will never set up a nursery in our homes, we all need a relaxing place where we can create and be mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically rested – a space to rest in ourselves, our marriages, and in the Lord....

We need a space we can come to and cry with our spouse.

We need this space to rejuvenate us by spending time with our Lord."

It has been almost four years that I’ve been walking past that room in my house. I’m pretty sure we’ve all had that room in our homes – the one we planned to use as the nursery. We likely hoped that room would quickly be filled with a tiny human to love

Infertility does not define you. Childlessness does not define you.

It does not define your marriage.

It does not define who you are as a woman.

It does not define who you are as a man.

It does not define who you are as a Catholic.

God offers us His life-giving grace in every season – even this one. 🩵

In a season of infertility, we are here with you.

Congratulations to Springs of Love on receiving a 2026 National Foster Care Innovation Challenge grant through the Flourish Fund!

We’re so grateful to share that Springs of Love has been awarded a $50,000 grant from the Flourish Fund as part of their Innovation Challenge!

We’re honored to be among the organizations working to strengthen foster care and support vulnerable families across the country.

This grant will help us continue building a culture of fostering and adoption in the Catholic Church: equipping parishes to raise awareness, support families, and ensure that no family walks alone.

Thank you to the Flourish Fund for believing in this mission. We’re excited for what’s ahead 🩵

What does the Theology of the Body even mean?

From it, what can we learn about Christ's body, and about God Himself?

What does Christ's body tell us about who we are, and about our own capacity to love?

What do our bodies tell us about what we were created for?

This week's podcast episode is part II of a series on the Theology of the Body with guests Chris O'Neill, Director of the Office of Marriage and Family Life for the Archdiocese of New Orleans, and Trey Weaver, Coordinator of Youth & Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of Baton Rouge.

"In the midst of the darkness of grief, trauma, and years of emotional anguish, I have found consolation in my wife who was there with me every step of the way," writes Edward on the blog today.

"We clung to each other, in good times and in bad, made it through the tough times, and became stronger because of it.

I have no doubt that the shared grief and pain have actually made our marriage stronger, which in turn gives me so much hope for the future of our relationship.

I am grateful for this because I know infertility strains many marriages (including ours, don’t get me wrong) and it often takes work to maintain unity through it all."

I can recall many times in the last eight years of marriage when I had hope related to having babies and children. First and foremost, I think of that innocent hope I had when we first got married and expected that babies would simply arrive. It was just assumed, just like that familiar
