Well, we finally finished that bag of peanut M&Ms! Our 19 week, two-part series on the book of Ephesians was wrapped up this past Sunday and we finally answered the question: Now What?
As we sped through the whole book in one service, we couldn't help but remember all the fun stops along the way since we started the book in September. From Maximus in the armor of God to the Saquon Barkley bobblehead, Ephesians has been quite the spiritual journey for PGC. Before we move on to our next series, we'd love to hear -- what was your favorite part? Which verse or chapter stood out to you? This week at PGC, we finished our mini series in Ephesians: Now What? (Armor of God Edition). Pastor Phil shared that the last piece of our armor is praying with and for others. Just as we boldly march side-by-side into the spiritual battle of living in a fallen world, so we should also boldly pray for the strength to put on the armor of God to prepare and protect our brothers and sisters in Christ. So what are you praying for specifically this week? Is it for strengthened faith? To be guided by the Spirit? Maybe the things you pray for this week for yourself, are the same things someone else is asking God for right now.

As we near the end of our Now What? series, Paul is warning us in the letter to the Ephesians to stand as if in battle. Not a battle against the flesh and blood of this world, but of the dark forces and powers of the spiritual one. Because of this, the armor we put on isn't to shield us from physical attacks, but the armor of God is made of His truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and Spirit. The enemy will lose this war in the end, but we still need to be prepared for his attacks against us.

At Palmyra Grace, we value our personal encounters with God, but how do we know what those look like? We encourage one another to share stories about how we've experienced God's goodness, grace, and work in our lives, and we call those stories "testimonies."

First up is Jen Charette. Her story is one that reminds us that God knows our heart, the deeds we hide, and the number of our days on earth. He is full of mercy and often uses those around us to point us back to Him before it's too late.
