It goes without saying that the very first cake, coffee, and conversation this summer was a very big success! A lot of wonderful baked goods, enough coffee and beverages for Young and old alike, and all the conversation you can handle! It was a great way to a Sunday morning. A very nice Thank You was extended to the members of St. John's for sharing the goods brought to the church for the Nurses of the Elementary Schools in Palmerton. The nurses and the students were so grateful for the tremendous outpouring of love and concern for our children and schools.

This past Sunday, June 7, was the first Coffee, Cake and Conversation for the summer months. People attending were asked to bring their favorite mug for a chance to win a prize. There were some very interesting mugs there. Funny, sentimental, historical, geographical etc. mugs there and judging was tough. Very pretty potted plants and a Dunkin' Donut gift card was given to the winners. Beverages were good and the pastries outstanding. Join us next time, won't you, when we meet July 5 for coffee, cake and conversation. Many thanks to the Fellowship Committee for hosting the event.
