Radiant Church Mat-Su Valley

We’re moving.
No, not that kind of moving.

No boxes.
No narrow staircases with obnoxiously difficult corners.
And we are not calling all our friends with pickups to help move a piano out of the music room on the third floor or that one sectional with the sleeper sofa that somehow weighs more than a small car.

Starting Sunday, February 8, Radiant Church MatSu will be gathering at a new location:
Teeland Middle School
2788 N Seward Meridian Pkwy, Wasilla, AK 99654

Same church.
Same Jesus.
Same mission.
Different address.

Why the move?
We don't want to be a big church, we want to be a church that makes room for one more to belong—to Jesus, to His church, and to His mission.

📍 Teeland Middle School
🕙 Sundays at 10am
📅 Beginning February 8

If Radiant is your church, we’d love for you to be there.
And if you know someone looking for a place to belong, this might be the perfect Sunday to invite them.

Last week in Radiant Basics, we were reminded that we were dead in sin, BUT GOD, rich in mercy, made us alive in Christ. We are saved by grace, not by works, and shaped by who Jesus is and what He has done.

You can listen to the message on YouTube or your favorite podcast app:

This Sunday, we continue Radiant Basics as we explore our identity as Family, with a special guest speaker.

We’d love for you to join us.

Seven Second Version:
This Sunday we begin Radiant Basics, focusing on who Jesus is, with some meaningful family news coming soon.

We’re starting a new 4 week series called Radiant Basics.
This is a chance to slow down and re-center on who Jesus is and what it looks like to follow Him together in everyday life.

If Radiant is your church, this is one of those Sundays you’ll want to be present for.

And while we won’t share everything just yet, there are some meaningful updates ahead that will shape how we gather and move forward together as a church family.

Whether you’ve been around for a while or are newer to Radiant, we’d love for you to join us.
There’s always room for one more to belong to Jesus, His church, and His mission.

This video update is for the video people who don’t read long posts. Everyone else, find the details below.

THIS Sunday, Jan 4, is Thank You Jesus Sunday. Psalm 102:7 says, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,” and we’re creating space in the service for exactly that. If you can fit what you’re going to share on a 3x5 card, you’re right on track. This is definitely not one to miss.

Then on Sunday, Jan 11, we’ll have Vision Sunday. This isn’t a church business meeting. We’ll spend time in God’s Word and share where we believe God is leading Radiant Church Matsu in 2026. Make sure you’re there. Oh and there will be a little giveaway. Guess you have to come find out what that means😉.

Seven Second Version: We couldn’t meet yesterday because the power and heat were out. Since we couldn’t do a whole sermon on the Lord’s Prayer, and no one wants that in a Facebook post, we shared a resource in this post instead. Don’t miss Thank You Jesus Sunday THIS coming Sunday!

If you weren't quite sure, the wind showed up in the MatSu Valley again.
For anyone who missed checking off “church canceled due to wind” on your 2025 bingo card a couple weeks back; you got to check that one off this week.

At this point, we’ve kind of lost track of how many windy weekends it’s been.

Yesterday, it knocked out power and heat at Valley Pathways, so gathering wasn’t an option.

Not how we wanted it to go. (Our introverts might not be too disappointed.) But following Jesus doesn’t pause just because a building is unavailable - we still pray, love people, and live our lives as a family of servant missionaries wherever we are.

We were planning to walk through the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9–13). Since we didn't get to our sermon on it, we shared a simple resource to help in your prayer life this week.

You can find it here:

Don’t miss Thank You Jesus Sunday this coming Sunday! We’re really looking forward to gathering together and giving thanks.

Due to the wind, power is out at Valley Pathways School and we will be unable to meet this morning for our Sunday gathering. Stay warm and safe.

In the quiet of night, shepherds heard the greatest news the world had ever known. Glory broke into the darkness—not with power, but with a child. This Sunday, come and see what God has done, and invite others to come along and see it with you.

What a packed house this sunday! We hope to see you all again next sunday as we continue on our journey through Romans and come face to face with the risen Jesus.
