The ongoing tragedies in Haiti cause fear and uncertainties. The GSF kids need food and other essentials due to inflation. The situation urged our president, Delvar Benjamin, and his wife Carline to fly for a quick visit post the earthquake bringing them food, clothes, and other essentials.

As the kids prepare to go back to school this month, we ask for your support with backpacks and other school supplies, nutrition, toiletries, or a tax-deductible donation. If you're donating supplies and products, please ship them to PO Box 17248, West Palm Beach, Florida 33416. https://gsfhaiti.org/donate/ 🙏

Earlier this year, the children of the Good Samaritan Foundation (GSF) experienced a painful loss. Our founder, Paster Astrel Vincent passed unexpectedly. In honor of his legacy, the GSF team is pleased to announce the launch of our NEW website, www.gsfhaiti.org!

Our team vows to keep Paster Vincent's mission alive and continue feeding, teaching, and caring for the children of Cite Soleil, one of the poorest regions in Haiti. However, we cannot do it without your help. With the loss of our leader and these difficult times, our children need your support more than ever before.

This , visit our new website and make a contribution that will help to feed, clothe, educate, and provide healthcare for children at our orphanage in Cite Soleil. No matter how big or small, as the Creole saying goes, "Se jes la ki konte." It's the gesture that counts! www.gsfhaiti.org 🤲..

Hello GSF Friends! We are happy to announce that the GSF School in Cite Soleil is open! This has been a huge undertaking and all praise goes to the Lord that we were able to open the school to serve the young children in Cite Soleil, who are some of the world’s most vulnerable.

A couple challenges we faced in opening the school were of course Covid-19, and also severe flooding in Cite Soleil. The entire road in front of the school is flooded. There has been a tremendous amount of rain and the channel that carries the water away is blocked. We are blessed that some of the local people were able to build a wooden bridge that the children can pass over to get to the school.

There are about 50 students who are currently attending the GSF school. This is much less than what we see in a typical school year, but we also understand the challenges facing families in sending their children to school during a pandemic, and compounded by flooding that has made life even more difficult in Cite Soleil. However, we do expect to have more students show up in the coming weeks.

We know the GSF School is a haven for these children, and we are doing our best to ensure their safety by providing social distancing in the classrooms, and hand washing before entering the school. We are asking the children to come to school with a mask, but we also realize this is a lot to ask of most families in Cite Soleil, so we have not made masks a requirement.

We need your prayers! Prayers to end the flooding in Cite Soleil, and prayers to keep our students healthy. Pray that God will provide for our students and their families that are facing severe hardship, unlike anything we have seen since the 2010 earthquake.

We will continue to keep you updated about the school and students. God bless you.

Dear Friends of Good Samaritan Foundation (GSF), Haiti Mission,

We hope everyone is well and staying safe during this difficult year. As you know by now, Pastor Vincent left us to be with the Lord in May this year. I’m sure it was a great homecoming in heaven.

We have taken some time to mourn his passing, but we know the work he led in Cite Soleil and the other areas in Haiti must go on. He would want us to come together and continue the good work that the Lord started with him and see it through. Many lives depend on it.

Over the years, through your generous donation, GSF has been able to provide much needed help to the communities we serve. We would like to continue the mission and more now than ever we need your support. If you feel led to help with any of our programs/projects, please contact any member of our team by email at [email protected].

We are also working on our website that will provide information on all the programs and projects we are undertaking, as well as information about how to help and get involved.

We will be in touch soon. May God bless you and keep you safe and healthy.

Sincerely,

Good Samaritan Foundation

Hello Gsf Families and Friends

Besides feeding people, Education is absolutely the key of success to become self-supporter and that will really mean something if we all put hands together to transform the AID to TRADE.

In this case, The Good Samaritain Foundation comes up with the idea to open a TECHNICAL SCHOOL for the young people in the community of Cite Soleil and we believe a Computer Lab and Copy machine will be useful to make this project possible and that will help us to teach the youth how to use laptops and create books for over 5000 children in school who are really hunger to learn.

Please, we need a copy machine and 20 laptops to start and maybe you know a church or some organization who want to donate some like you see in these pictures below. I am in state until March 13th and anybody can get contact with me trough messenger or call directly on this number : 011 3860-8297 or click on this link below to donate http://www.gsfhaiti.org/wwwgsfhaitiorg.html

Let’s pray to do impossible with God’s help by helping us to give a bread of education to theses people in need.

To his kingdom!

Haiti Hurricane Matthew Relief and Recovery Fund
From the heart of Pastor Vincent
Dear GSF Friends and families,
Hurricane Matthew caused over 800 deaths in Haiti. National Government believes it could be more, but so far, that’s what they found. Their homes and crops are devastated. 1.5 million people were living in a zone hit by the brunt of the storm. Hundreds of thousands of people home were damaged or destroyed, and up 80% percent of crops in some areas are a total loss. Your assistance is needed in helping people rebuild their lives. Please consider making a donation. This is urgent need. Click here http://gsfhaiti.org/hurricane-matthew-relief.html to Donate.

Following Hurricane Matthew, we have received inquiries about how to help. The focus now is on cleaning up Cite Soleil and preventing the spread of disease. Standing water will bring Malaria,...

I am happy to share that the kids at the orphanage are all safe, and there was no damage to the house. Thank you for your concern and prayers. We are praying for those in Southern Haiti who are greatly suffering with the loss of life and property in the aftermath of this hurricane. It is an important time to come together and uplift eachother in prayer as the hurricane still continues it's path along the US Eastern Coast.
