As people of faith, we are called not only to grieve the violence in our world, but also to bear witness to another way—the way of peace, dignity, and courageous love. I invite congregations and individuals across the Episcopal Diocese of San Diego to participate in WEAR ORANGE SUNDAY on JUNE 7 as a visible act of prayer, remembrance, and hope. By wearing orange, we stand with survivors of gun violence, remember lives lost, and recommit ourselves to the sacred work of building communities where every person is treated as a beloved child of God. May our prayers move us ever deeper into the work of healing, compassion, and peace.
