Thought of the day: As I wear this Cross and I feel it swing on my neck or catch a glance of it in the mirror; I think “I’m not worthy to wear this Cross.” And then an immediate retort comes to mind- “Don’t you dare take it off.”

Stop putting ALL your trust in people. Eventually everyone will let you down just as you will fall short in others lives. We are instructed to not even trust ourselves. “Those who trust in themselves are fools....” (Proverbs 28:26). Of course you may trust people, but your base character needs to be rooted in: The One that never lied, that never sinned, and gave His life for your eternal salvation. “It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans” (Psalm 118:8).
