In some instances we are very non-traditional & non-mainstream. Our goal is to present the Gospel to everyone, with a focus on those who don't fit into traditional church or outreach methods. We believe that we are fishers of men, and just like it takes different bait to catch certain fish, it may take a different approach to reach certain people. f stepping out of the norm. We don't want to take the easy way out, and just condemn & curse the darkness. No, instead we want to light a candle! The Salvation Saloon is not comprised solely from any particular denomination. We believe that all who have confessed Jesus as Lord, are part of the body of Christ. The Salvation Saloon is a united effort, with people from many different churches working together for the cause of Christ. Leaving behind the non-essential beliefs that sometimes separate and cause divisions in the body. There is great power in the unity of His church! We believe that God has a plan and a purpose for all believers. Providing encouragement and opportunity for all to minister and take an active part in the Great Commission is a primary function of the Salvation Saloon. We want to provide a platform for believers to share their talents, and share with others, the goodness of our God. We believe that Jesus is alive and well & still changing lives and meeting needs and we all have something to share and give regardless of what we may have been told, or believe. The bible says in Phil. 4:13, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. It's God's power that allows us to be witnesses. We have been made to do more than just fill up the pews!
