was almost over, then this happened...

I, Brad, had the incredible privilege of joining the "Ignite the Faith" outreach team! It was a powerful day of music, testimony, and community.
Toward the end of the day, my girlfriend Fay and I met a young couple, Jose and Miranda, sitting on the grass. While Miranda already knew the Lord, Jose wasn't sure about his eternity. After walking through the Romans Road and discussing the gift of salvation, Jose gave his life to Jesus, right there in the park! 🙌
It is amazing to see Yahweh’s perfect timing at work. Jose is in the Air Force stationed near Sacramento, and he’s starting his journey by reading a chapter of the Gospel of John every day. Please join us in praying for him as he begins his walk with Christ!
"No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him." — John 6:44
All glory to Jesus! ✝️

The Prayer I Didn’t Expect

At the Ignite the Faith event, Cindy, not her real name, came to us for prayer. She didn’t ask for what you’d expect.
She didn’t ask for the "mountain" of her health challenge to be removed. She didn’t ask for healing of her cancer. Instead, she asked for strength.

The Backstory:
Recently, Cindy had asked God for one thing: “Lord, get me closer to You.” Shortly after, this health challenge arrived. To Cindy, this isn't a setback; it's the answer to her prayer. She knows that sometimes the closest we ever get to the Father is in the middle of the fire.

The Vision:
As we prayed, I saw a picture of the Apostle Paul. When he was in prison, he was chained to guards. He couldn't leave, but neither could they—they had to hear the Gospel.
Cindy’s "prison" might be a treatment chair, but those nurses and doctors are her captive audience. They are coming to check her vitals, but they are going to encounter a peace that defies medical logic.

The Why:
The Bible says that Jesus, "for the joy set before Him, endured the cross." Cindy is doing the same. She is looking past the "chair" and toward the joy of:
• Deeper intimacy with God.
• Sharing hope with people who are lost in the healthcare system.
• Proving that His grace is sufficient when our strength is gone.

The Takeaway:
Maybe the "valley" you’re in isn't a detour. Maybe it's your new mission field.
Please keep Cindy in your prayers as she climbs this mountain—not just for health, but for the souls she’s going to reach along the way. 🙌✨

📣 **IS THIS YOUR CALLING?**
Like Gideon, who humbly responded to God's call saying, “My clan is the weakest…and I am the least in my family” (Judges 6:15), I too feel unworthy of the task before me. Yet, just as the Lord empowered Gideon, He has called me to unite the body of Christ and I have been praying, fasting, and laboring toward this vision for over two years. By His grace, the foundation has been laid.

In Judges 6:24–25, Gideon builds an altar to the Lord and then sounds the trumpet, calling the tribes to stand with him. **THIS IS MY TRUMPET CALL.**

Will you answer it?

Will you join with me to gather and strengthen the body of Christ in unity and purpose?
I would be honored to share this vision with you.

**To God be all the glory!**

This week, the cross outside our church fell. Not because of a storm, not because someone hit it—but because the wood at the foundation had slowly rotted away. On the surface, it still looked like a strong symbol of faith. But underneath, it was decaying—and eventually, that hidden weakness brought it down.

That’s a picture of cultural Christianity. It can look like faith on the outside—crosses on walls, verses in bios, occasional church attendance—but underneath, there's no living relationship with Jesus. No root in Scripture. No repentance. No transformation. And just like that cross, when pressure comes, it doesn’t stand.
Jesus warned us about this. In Matthew 7, He said that many will say, ‘Lord, Lord,’ but He will reply, ‘I never knew you.’ That’s not about how we look—it’s about who we truly are. We’re not called to have the appearance of the cross. We’re called to live under its power.

This fallen cross is more than a maintenance issue—it’s a wake-up call. Let’s not be content with the appearance of faith. Let’s dig deep and ask:
* Am I rooted in Christ, or just familiar with Christian culture?
* Is my relationship with Jesus active, or just assumed?
* Am I being shaped by Scripture, or just surrounded by it?
This week, take time to ‘check the foundation.’ Spend unhurried time in the Word. Pray honestly. Ask the Holy Spirit to expose any areas where things may be rotting beneath the surface. And if you’re not sure where to start, reach out. You're not alone—and the cross still stands, not because we hold it up, but because Christ has overcome.

These guys are pretty amazing! Maybe your earthly father wouldn't have done this but your heavenly father will. Run to Him. He loves you and wants you to come to him. He doesn't condemn you, he loves you.
